I heard about this limited run of 550 pedals from a co-worker and figured I'd grab one "just in case" as I often do. When it comes to tone, I know I can trust Jeorge Tripps and the king cork sniffer Joe Bonamassa, so this was a no-brainer for me. They're already reselling for more than 2x the original price - 4 days later! I don't own a Klon, but I have several clones and they all sound great and there's a ton of debates about which one is closest to the most sought after iteration; another highly debated topic.

Can't get enough Zappa. Your demo convinced me to grab a Tube Zipper, and I’m so glad I did. Just posted a video of an improvised jam with it, using a Behringer Edge synth and a Dynacord tape delay. The envelope filter is crazy fun to experiment with! Still getting familiar with it, but I'm excited to dive deeper with guitar and keys

Amazing pedal for bass guitar. I play in a sludge metal band and I need some heavy fucking distortion. I borrowed and tried a bunch of drive and fuzz pedals to find the right one and this one came on top, paired with a Big Muff! I am about to order one on Reverb.

Surprised I'm liking the EVH Chorus better than the vintage CE-1
it's a really good sounding pedal, isn't it? I think scarcity and price factor in on the mystique of the CE-1, although it's undeniably a great and unique pedal - it's not the only one.
I bought this pedal in the Mid 90’s in a bargain bin, excellent pedal that gave me most old school overdrive/Plexi/fuzz tones. There are old ads on the internet for it.

They're a bit expensive, but they make great pedals and the value is there IMO.
On mine the tubes don’t not light up anymore, even thou still got the effects. Is that a problem? Maybe the tubes are burnt? Congrats for the video!!
Thanks! That's shouldn't be related to the tubes or a problem. Electro Harmonix used to do repairs for a really low price. Might be worth reaching out. But, if it sounds good to you, I'd leave it as is!
The tubes have a little led light underneath them to make them look cooler, if it still sounds fine then likely the little led is just bust

hey man thats a great sounding piece of kit. Love the florentine pogen riff too. Can you use this thing only as an overdrive pedal such as the Butlers Tube Driver if you turn the filter knobs all the way down? if so does it sound any good that way. Thanks!
I'll have to see if I can bypass the filter but if memory serves, you can use either side (Envelop or Overdrive) independently. When I get it out next I'll respond.
