    Liked ur video and work. I get ur style of play but with this style I dont see how u can win at 25NL. Hence, u losing on this session pretty big. U kind of risk too much to win too little at this limit vs those players. Would love to get a reply from u with some explanations on how this style is appropriate for this limits. Thx.

      Hey Andi, I disagree with this play style being loosing. Can show u the graph of rnc if you want. You just need to carefully select the spot youre doing this

      @YolanCohenPoker Hey Yolan. Thx so much for the reply. Must admit I wasnt expecting one since video is an year old. Now, I get the style, I just dont see how risking 100BB to win 20BB works in long run. If u are called 1 out of 5 times in 99% of cases u are beat. To work, implies that they fold more than 5/6 times so that you get covered 100BB. For sure, would love to see a graph with more hands at 25NL with this style of playing. I'm thinking to make some adjustments to my style of play and would like to see how this somewhat looser style works on long term. Thx a lot and much appreciated.

    Ty for the wealth of free knowledge. Especially the pocket 77 hand vs a rec and the concept of clairvoyance or visibility.I used to struggle a lot with that(still do on occasion).I would just barell into the abyss without even a freakin flashlight to guide me,and with little clue as to what his hand might be. We bluff the AdKx because we block villains river calls with AdQd, AdQx & AdTd?Villain calls these more often because he unblocks our club and heart floats on the flop?

    AKcc , we don't bluff as we block folds / unblock calls, i.e. ATs/KTs no clubs would call, we block hands like KJcc/Axcc?

    A question for you: fish dont 4b enough so you 3b more. But they also dont fold enough to 3b so why is it still ok to 3b bluff with A5o and QTo ?

    • @Jimmyballsthe3rd
      @Jimmyballsthe3rd 25 дней назад

      I don’t think A5 is very good, they’re very much likely to be calling the A8o A9o ATo type of hands, so to me it seems unintuitive.

      it depends who u face, if u face passive weak tights or loose passives u can certainly over 3b, bcs weak tights will still under 4b and fold to a lot of 3b, loose passives will call a lot of 3b and fold OTF. If u face maniacs or hardcore stations u might wanna tighten it up and be more value heavy/ .

    Is it because you block the Button folding range?? . BTN bet flop with backdoors and give up most of them in the turn, at least in theory. So i guess that, as BB, you dont want to bluff the missed backdoors flush because they are the worst blocker in this scenario.

  • @adamba99
    @adamba99 25 дней назад

    14:32 isn’t the ev of block bet with TT higher than jamming them , to make you raise bluff some hands like (78 76 54 ) J is quite a blank once you called turn pot bet , and the other sets will jam anyway , just my opinion, rip Matthew

  • @ZhuDaMC
    @ZhuDaMC Месяц назад

    Okay I thought about it some more. What the minclick potentially accomplishes is if the player puts u on a bluff, minclicking gets nut flush to simply call, as ur nut flush wouldn't go all in there. So if you go all in, he's going to call u. So his plan was if u simply call, he'd check river having repped the flush draw himself and to get a cheaper showdown, than to simply call turn and call river jam. minclicking turn, might get a cheaper showdown on river? as your single Ax may check back river a decent % of the time for showdown value. But then that is easily exploitable because he shouldn't have any flushes on the river that check back after minclicking turn. All his flushes that get to river should jam. I think ur opp just punted. I can't say the play was good. You should have jammed river cuz all ur Kx flushes that call turn, would go all in on river. U need to incorporate this KJo combo as a bluff or else u always have value on the river there when u jam.

  • @ZhuDaMC
    @ZhuDaMC Месяц назад

    Could the player have misclicked? Minclicking 88 does nothing to your draws and he has to fade a spade. Minclicking increases the SPR, which accomplishes nothing. It's a super risky play cuz u could have jammed turn or jammed river. I can't imagine he wanted to induce a jam on river with his holding. Only hands that minclick are JTs, J9s, J8s that don't think u raise UTG with K8s, K9s, or KTs. Turn sizing at 75% means u don't have nut flush though. The question is does ur opp take this line when they have a flush. I think they would jam river themselves if they have a flush. So what hands is he balancing with that min click river and check back to induce bluff. AQo, AJ with J of spades. AT with T of spades. But then if they have that read why not simply jam turn to deny equity.

    Hey I absolutely love your content. KQ hand 46:15: Could you lay out the math for this one, on why you chose the 33% sizing over a jam ~80%? I see you use a lot off small sizings with the reasoning of "I want to get called _every time_ by x" when you have the nuts. I did some quick calculations (without including the added frequency of villain raising a small bet), and it seems like villain really needs to fold a lot to a 75-100% size bet and call a ton to a 33% to make the 33% the same EV

    By using a huge squeezing size, would it be too easy trap by the caller (AA/KK)) or 4bet jam by the initial raiser (with JJ+ and AK). Losing more blinds when we are squeezing with medium hand like (KQs KJs A5s AJs AQo ATs KTs) and fold to jam each time. Unless we only squeeze with the huge size with linear range like QQ+ and AK.
