    Having 2 sizing on the flop is just not possible for a 500nl player. I think even 5k NL players will mess. You can have different sizes but multiple sizing balance is quite difficult. You will end up quite imbalanced a alert player will note that

      A alert player is not going to see anything. It will take months for him to understand how many sizes do you have on each flops, how u are unbalanced…
      It’s a myth people exploits other tendencies quickly. Except in higher stakes everything is super slow.

    Shalom Yolan. @13:09 You state that JTs is a standard fold BTN vs BB 3-bet in lower stakes games. I was surprised by this as it would usually be a standard call for me in these positions. Would you prefer to call small pocket pairs against a 3-bet when pool under-3bets, compared to SCs like JTs? I see some regs in my pool who will defend all PPs to a 3-bet in position. I would personally prefer to defend JTs than with a hand like 44 in this spot.

      Check your database and if you have a large sample, you will notice JTs and lower pp don’t make money at all and are minus ev or BE.
      BE are actually ev- in the sens of when there is a fish at the table, some of them are going to stay for X minutes, and you dont want to waste time playing a BE spot.
      Also the reasons for this being -EV
      - Some players 3B too merge and not polar enough. So your eq and eqr with these hands are less important.
      - Some players do not 3bet enough in term of %, and against that JTs is a terrible call.
      So it makes out your call is close to ev0 vs a large amount of the pop, but extremely less ev vs the pop 3betting too tight.

    @23:00 when you face uncertain lines by regs you said that you prefer the fold or call option here? Could't understand

    • @YolanCohenPoker
      @YolanCohenPoker  11 месяцев назад +1

      It depends, but in general I tend to fold more. People are more creative with values compared to bluff.

    @9:20 how can A8o thin value bet there? That’s just a straight up mistake. If BB’s own block bet threshold is Jx like he said how is A8 eligible for thin value for BTn.If you bet you are turning a made hand into bluff

    • @YolanCohenPoker
      @YolanCohenPoker  11 месяцев назад

      If vilain block Jx region and bet Kx too much, A8 is a vb, not good in theory there

    • @samuraijack1371
      @samuraijack1371 11 месяцев назад

      I still disagree. I havent run it in a solver but im very confident A8 cannot value bet there. The threshold for IP value bet is quite high.
      Maybe you are saying that BTn can bet 33%. But that’s a bad size to be used by IP. IP cannot block cause it will get raised (at least in theory)
      Also, you said it’s not a good thin value bet cause it will not get called often. Well that is correct but the main criteria for thin value bets are if it’s getting raise enough. The cost of reopening the action in theory is very high

      @@samuraijack1371 no he's saying OOP will bet block bet with a J or K, so decent chance A8 is winning

      If JX block then A8 is value vet. If JX check then A8 is not a vb. Very easy.
