What a fun page. That turned out quite lovely Becca. I love all the little additions. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you so very much Kaylin! It was a fun one! I couldn’t resist adding a few surprises 🥰
Thank you for sharing your beautiful work! How do you adhere the actual pages? Fabric glue? It does’t appear that they are stitched on. Lisa from CA
Thank you very much, Lisa! Yes, they’re stitched down with a running stitch all the way around the entire page, I’ll try to remember to share this in my next video. 🥰
Lovely page Becca. Along with autumn, I also love mushrooms, especially Amanita muscaria. I really enjoy making felted mushrooms. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished page. TFS!
Thank you so very much, Kaylin! Oh I love the Amanita Muscaria mushrooms as well. They are some of the prettiest! Hopefully I’ll catch up a bit. 🥰
That's wonderful work Becca! Autumn is also my favorite time of year too because I love all the colors and the change of season. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you very much, Kaylin, for your kind words! 🥰 Fall is such a special time for all the reasons you mentioned. I absolutely love the crisp air, the beautiful colors, the sounds of leaves under our feet, geese flying overhead…such beauty!
Your work is always exquisite! Your book will be so stunning when completed.
@@lisaemery6599 Thank you so very much, Lisa! This has been such a nice project! 😊
I love your literal interpretation of the prompts! It’s simply beautiful! I’m not a fan of heavy handed slow stitching as i feel like the theme gets lost. Thank you for sharing!
@@Weamee Thank you for your very kind comment! I never know if my work fits with slow stitch, but it’s the way I like to work, 🥰

Beautiful! Who is the designer and what is the name of the rose fabric you shared after the script fabric?
Hi Paula, Thank you! The fabric is Willowberry Winter by Willowberry Lane for Maywood Studios. There is some on Etsy and EBay. 😊
@@willowhilldesigns7 thank you!
Dear becca, i think, you have the only real field note book of all. i wish you the best for your health .
Thank you very much, Silke! I’ve tried to follow that idea and inspiration; and am so glad that it’s coming through that way. This project has been more than enjoyable. Thank you also for your well wishes and I’m wishing you good health too! 🥰
It's so beautiful, Becca! You are really so good at depicting nature. This page has that depth and perspective of a real wood scene and it is not finished yet! I had some mushrooms on my page, too😊and my whole book is a work in progress because not a page is completed😅 Thanks so much for your inspiration ❤
Thank you so very much for your kind words, Giusi! I love nature and mushrooms too! That makes me feel much better, because I doubt that I’ll catch up at this point. It’s good that we can enjoy this wonderful slow stitching and time tables can’t always be followed. That’s ok though; it’s all about the joy of stitching!🥰
Who is the designer/name of the 'butterfly with writing fabric" you mentioned?
@@toniclem the fabric name is Papillon”, by Kate McRostie by Windham fabrics. I hope this helps in some way. 😊
Your slow stitch project looks beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Thank you so very much Ann!
Every time I see one of your finished pages, I gasp! They are all simply gorgeous! I agree with you and Marion, embroidery definitely has it’s place in slow stitching. I use it frequently in my pieces.
Thank you so very much, Cathy! Yes, it would definitely be a shame to leave embroidery out of our slow stitching. I’m so happy to hear of other like minded stitchers. 🥰
Wow! your page is wonderful. The corn detail is awesome. I only started slow stitching in 2020 and I so enjoy it. My grandmother taught me to embroider but then I followed a pattern. Now I am more artistic and creative with my stitching which is so much fun.
@@carriep.8997 Thank you very much, Carrie! I just found slow stitching a few years ago too, although my Mom taught me to embroider when I was ten. I’ve loved handstitching ever since. Yes, isn’t that the fun of slow stitching - the creativity. 😊

@@angelaperezmayers2437 Thank you so very much, Angela, for your kind comment! 🥰
I agree with you and Marion, too,Becca! I love all the different styles, the mixture of traditional embroidery and free stitches. I think slow stitching is more about the freedom of creating than about the use or not of embroidery. This is demonstrated by the fact that we all love repurposing vintage linens with beautiful embroidery in our works. I hope this makes sense. Your first prompt for autumn is fantastic! Tfs ❤
Thank you very much, Giusi! Yes, I agree that it’s about the freedom to slow stitch in any way that pleases us and gives the results we’re looking for. It would be a shame not to include embroidery, I think, because it offers us so many interesting options. 🥰
So beautifully made and your love for dear Gemma is so clear! She will love it!
