Becca ❤ As always, your work is outstanding and I am so impressed with your overall artwork. You are so talented and have truly been blessed. I think my parents had a Hawthorn bush, those little flowers look so very familiar. I have a friend who named all her children after trees ...... Hawthorn, Willow, and Rowan. I cannot wait to see how this progresses and your box is stunning. Hugs and blessings. xo ❤❤❤
@@NellieandRuthDesigns You’re so sweet Barbie; thank you! My two brothers and sister were/are truly artists, also my father and grandparents, my daughter and some grandchildren too. I believe that it’s a gift from God. It’s very evident that you have that gene too! We dug up our Hawthorne Tree from my older brother’s property, and so it’s very special to me. I always laugh about this little tree, because we planted it probably 30 years ago, and it’s still only about 5 feet tall. I call it the tree that time forgot! I love those names! We named two of our dogs after flowers; Tansy and Lilly. Piper was almost named Willow. Hugs and blessings 🥰❤️❤️❤️xx
You're so creative Becca, you inspire me, thank you. I'd like to have a go at 'Down the Garden Path' I can't think about it without wanting to add little creatures like in Brambly Hedge ? I keep going to your gorgeous effort ... it pulls at my heart. I'm a G'ma and I have never grown up, my G'daughter says I'm her Fairy Godmother .... I'm thinking of setting my effort in a Christmas atmosphere as well. What do you think ?
Thank you so very much, Deb! I love that volume of stitching too! It was lots of fun, but I enjoyed the Christmas Journal so much also. I think that’s a wonderful idea to have a Christmas theme as you do yours. There are so many wonderful things you can add with that theme. I think one of the keys to happiness is to stay young at heart! Your granddaughter sounds so sweet! Don’t we all wish we had a fairy godmother! Happy stitching! 🥰
Can't wait to see this page finished-beautiful so far!
