Thank God Punta Allen hasn’t been wrecked! I have watched with sadness as Tulum went from an outpost where you could rent a palapa to camp near the beach to an overcrowded, expensive zoo. Hopefully they will never fix that road.

Hi! We wonder if you know how to get to Petempich Beach, which supposedly has public access. We can't find it! Google directions don't work. We have condo in Puerto Morelos and hope we run into you sometime!

Umbelivable, i went there many time especialment por el mercadito local cada Domingo. Que es el mismo dia que el mercadito en purto Morelos tambien, circo de " invasion". Me recuerdo muy bien...

1 cosa importante, en pm puede beber agua con technologia de osmose reverse. Tienes 3 o 4 distributores de este agua. No existe en europa.

Me fui en mexico en 2022 por 6 meses y vivo en colonia en 3 differente lugar perro todos estan limpio y los mexicanos muy gentil y amable. El mejor es que necesida 1 bycicleta para a ir en la playa y es bien de hacer exercicio. Oh no soy americana, soy de europa!!

This answered some big questions I had. One is I need a small town feel. I'm definitely not into the city life. And the water is definitely no issue. I live in Texas, and the sediment makes the water murky. I like Puerto Morelos for a retirement destination. Thanks for the video.

Mayan coastline, including PM, seems to be dirtier than most places that we've visited. Litter and garbage strewn about and not picked up, especially when you get a little bit out of town. Could be wrong about that.. Difficult to make such a comparison.

Pro tip! You have to put the taco shells in the oven first for a few minutes. They will be more crunchy and easier to eat. Not sure if someone already posted this.

Your lucky you have each other! I’m alone a friend brought up going to live in Mexico. I love the Yucatán, in fact on my vacation many moons ago, I wanted to stay and live there, I retired ow my boys are adults the cost of living in the US is unbearable 😊. It’s time, I moved from LA to Colorado N I miss the beach N hate the cold weather here…
