I was a little nervous for Rick going solo on this video. Rick pulled it off . Now I know where to take my car for a wash and the shoe repair guy. Great video!!!
Excellent job on your own Ricky, loved the view of the city day in the life. The video was way too short. Did you guys do a video on purchasing a car if not can you please do a video.
Really enjoyed this video. Not because Raquel wasn't in it, but because it was very interesting to see what a typical day was like living down there. Please consider doing more videos with that in mind. Ricky's use of Spanish was impressive too!
Good job on your own Ricky. It looks like your Spanish lessons are really coming along. Hopefully you were able to find the tablecloths that Raquel wanted, nothing like wanting to do a craft and not having the materials needed, lol.
Lol, no I managed to get Raquel sorted out in Super Aki right in town here but for whatever reason my recording did not record. That's why Raquel needs to be with me at all times!! Ricky
Thank you Lisa, we are trying every day to improve but I did notice a very obvious mistake I made but I won't make it again. It's all a learning curve! Raquel is working hard at improving her Spanish too. Ricky
I'm new to the channel and enjoy all the videos. I think Ricky did great! I love learning more with each video. We will be there in November and planning to retire there next year. Cant wait to visit. Thanks for all the info and places you visited.
Hi, yes they have tellers inside the bank but the ATM's are as you go in the door, a separate room. Some people get confused by the ATM machines as only two are for withdrawing money and the other three are for depositing money. As you go in the door the first two on the right are for withdrawing cash the rest are for deposits. Hope this helps Ricky
Hi Rickie and Raquel, We are Micheline and Michel. Wev'e been following you for a few months now. We discovered you by searching information about Puerto Morelos. We appreciate very much your videos. They are full of the info we were looking for. thank you. A friend offered us to rent their house in La Colonia Pescadores for 2 months. Since you live in Puerto Morelos for a while can you, Please, give us your appreciation of the safety of this area of PM, espacially after dawn. Is it safe to walk in this area after dawn since there are many streets with no houses or businesses and only bushes, espacially around the football parks? The house is on calle Ignacio Lopes. thank you, MnM
Hi Michel and Micheline, we don't exactly know where Calle Ignacio Lopes is in Pescadores but generally speaking Pescadores is a very nice neighbourhood. Pescadores is well situated to the main shopping centre and it is the closest area to the beachside from La Colonia. PM is a very safe town to walk around even at night. There are some areas that you would have no business to be in because there are no shops, pubs etc. These are residential areas and even though they may appear to be poor and somewhat run down there are no major issues. If I were you I would take up your friends offer with no hesitations! Pescadores has a few smaller shops and restaurants there is also a large gated community. Hope this helps and if it is the Street by the soccer pitch you will have no issues!
Hi Michel, we used to recommend a taxi service but they let us down on one occasion so we do not use them any more. You can get the ADO bus which is the cheapest option. It leaves the airport and goes to the terminal in Cancun where you then swap onto the bus for PM which runs every half an hour. Your other option is to book transport online, it will be a little bit more expensive but cheaper than taking one of the taxis that will be waiting at the airport. Sorry we cannot give you a recommendation but we do not want to be responsible for drivers who may let you down.
Hi Stan, there's not really a large shop for fabric's in town but there are smaller stores that do sell some fabric's. For a better choice you could go to Playa Del Carmen or Cancun both are approximately half an hour and are easily accessed by colectivo.
Thanks for stopping by. We have taken a couple week break from RUclips (put a notice on our RickRack travels Facebook page) and are currently traveling.last time we were at the beach it was looking gorgeous
@@RickRackTravels oh i didn’t see that. Enjoy your vacation. We stay in Puerto Morelos and we keep saying where is Rick Rack 😂. Going back in August. We just got our temporary residence in Atlanta and doing part 2 in August. 👏
Hi Eric, there certainly is!! If you are on the Port side you will find a stand at the park close to the PM sign. Of you are in La Colonia you will find a stand at the Central Park near the Junction with Zetina Gasca. Hope this helps.
To bring your own car to Mexico you will have to stop at an Immigration office which will be near but not necessarily at the border. There you will need to get a Temporary Import License (TIP) which can last up to six months depending on the time they give you. At the end of the period of time given you will have to drive back to the border. If you want to bring a car full time it is a whole new set of rules that would be too difficult to explain. The best thing to do would be to watch QRoo Paul on his channel Two ExPats Mexico, I believe he covered both of these subjects in previous videos.
Hi both! I hope you see this message. I am a fan of both of you! Derek and I are Canadian and British, we are coming to PM May 10 to 17, I would love to meet up? Maybe for a coffee, if you can fit us in? 😊
Very entertaining!

Very nice! Does that BBVA bank have an actual teller or just all ATMs? Thanks.

There is a guard at the door, it's very secure, friendly and helpful.
I just love that video and you did a fabulours job! I want to know what the craft project was!!
Thank you 🙏 the craft project was the first rock painting class we did 😍
Great video ricky!
