After 43 years as LPN . I've decided that u want my degree as an RN. The motivation is what i need. Im soon to be 67 years old. I want this for me, although it will make my two grown successful sons happy. I deserve this. I worked hard. This is mine. I will get it. Im worthy of it. Thinking positive. I will probably be 70 years old when i finish. But, I'll have that degree if almighty God says so.

Can you do a video on what was required for you to get into your RN bridge program kind of like you did with the LPN program? Can you direct me to where it is if you have already done one? not sure if I missed it.

Can you do a video on why you don’t want to go back to the nursing home? I’m currently in a LPN program and I plan on going to a nursing home to gain experience. I need the DETAILS LOL

l am a 22 year old CNA although I do love my job. It can be very overwhelming sometimes. Dealing with 20 to 30 patients by yourself is not what's up. l've got my certification back in 2023. I got my first job working in a nursing home although I enjoyed my job, but I did not want to continue to wipe ass my whole life. I'm just being real and very honest. I enjoyed the people I work with and the residence but it's time for a change. I just got through finishing the medication aid program and now was going to take my state test and after that, I pray to God that help you become certified medication aide

I just received my certification for med aide & I love it! 😊 I’m so glad that I don’t have to do any resident care….other than my morning job as a hospice aide 😄😄

Heyyy so I have been watching you for forever when we both were LPNs in LTC. Now we are RNs 🎉. Question: How has your journey been working in Med Surg from LTC? Are there any similarities?

You would make a great nurse educator. You are so knowledgeable and a confident nurse. Most channels are always showing the glam but you bring the real. lol. It ain’t easy but its worth it aspect. Great content. Happy Holidays.

Exactly during that time I had a toddler and a newborn working 12+ hrs a day! It was the trenches! 2020 and the years following had my nerves fried Hunny!

This is soo helpful, thanks for sharing. I’m on winter break, and I really have been thinking about what type of nurse I want to be. I don’t know lol, there are so many avenues that are possible within nursing. That’s part of what is so beautiful about this career path❤

I cried with you gurl...BIG empath here!!🖐️...I found out I was accepted into nursing school in November and start the Spring term in January. I never ever thought about being a nurse, but God planted this "journey" into my head earlier this year. I was like "What, who ME, no! God are you sure you meant to put this in my head. Like I'm scared to go that route, I think you got the wrong person" but He kept coming at me like "DO IT!!!" I've been watching you since before I was a RN. I've been a nurse now for almost a year and a half. Just started a new job 3 weeks after I quit my first nursing job. Training to become a infusion nurse and in school for my PMHNP. There is money out here. You told no lies, and I have no regrets.

I met 1 girl in Nursing School who I instantly clicked with and it was just her and I the whole 4 years - we studied together every weekend and we are still besties 40 years later. Everybody is not going to like you - just focus on what you're there for.

I came from a hell situation in long term care to a new job that feels like I'm being spoiled. These nurses don't even know how good they got it! Tried to bully me saying " oh that's my cart" no honey, I don't see your name and I'm already half way through my shift. No way! 😂 bullies don't faze me! And I don't care, I tell them how it is.

i came across your video 2.5 years ago when I debating on signing up for my CNA course. here i am 2.5 years later currently a CNA that finishes my lpn course in 13 days

I am too late on the train because I will graduate with my BA this spring with a solid GPA, but now I want to change my career path to nursing. I have scheduled an appointment with an advisor, and I hope things will transition smoothly. I'm nervous, anxious, and frustrated with myself because I feel I am starting all over.
