Very clean !! Did you install ?
@@blackhawkmp9 yes
What is the name of that compound you used
Great videos man, you really showcase some amazing techniques and there isn't enough guys making videos. I'm glad you're still active and really enjoy all your content! Keep it up. Even the shorts are appreciated for techs and apprentices trying to learn and get better. Happy new year!
Keep the videos coming !!! When you were blowing down that compressor , what was on the end of your hose in the bucket ?
@blackhawkmp9 Dang! I can't believe you noticed that. It's an old ammonia relief valve Defuser. I found it on a facility that had an ammonia system in the 1890s. The facility processed meat and had 2 old Worthington 7x7s.
That’s awesome , would love to see it up close , looking to build a mixing valve for my hoses
So its a placement implementation fault?
Why's your buddy wearing a mask but you're not lol
@curtisdunn1854 because he's opening the valve. It's pumped out but could have a residual smell that could affect the person right next to the opening. Mine is on my cart.
thanks for sharing
Awesome video thank you ? For the evacuation, did you use a portable pump or is there a permanent one piped into the system? The vessel on the discharge line near the compressor with the drain pipe at the bottom, is that the separator or a muffler?
@19thcenturyfuture The vessel is a separator, and I used a hose with a bucket of water to remove the ammonia.
Keep em coming
Need to know where you got that gasket cutter bro. I need one
@HEFTYLEFTY303 It's an ALLPAX 7000 Gasket cutter.
Feedback: for me, the music is way too loud, Exempel at 3:33
@berlinberlin4246 Yes, it is. I'm trying to get more videos pushed out. I use headphones, and the volune wasn't up all the way when editing. This takes a ton of time to do, and I dont have that much time. Sorry for any editing issues you might encounter.
Do you have to pump down the compressor in order to replace the motor?
@Young_itachi Not this one. some compressors have piping or tubing in the way that may require you to pump down so you can remove the motor. Most compressor packages don't require pump down to remove the motor.
You was monitoring the PPM then Dan (No breathing equipment)😅. Looks like an old plant with valve stations in the store. Tell the customer they need to pipe valve stations outside store on a Saturday and Sunday so you get some overtime good buddy.😂😂. Joking aside, great video and great find. Them liquid levels are sent to test us!
@PhilipDrain I always carry my mask with me. lol. We are currently in the process of replacing all evaporators with valve stations on the roof. Lots of wonderful changes in the near future. Thank for the comment.
Yikes!
Bad ass keep em coming

Beautiful Dan. PS having a bit of trouble getting a 4 - 20ma analogue feed back to the PLC from a Hansen Tec MVC. 1 1/2" controlling level in a surge drum. It is controlling and we can see the valves position locally, just no feed back. Any ideas? No problem if not just thought it was worth a shot.
@PhilipDrain Thanks. Have you tested the analog input? I usually use a signal generator to test the input to make sure it's reading correctly. Then test the Hansen MVC output to make sure you're getting a signal. I use the Fluke 773 to do this.
Big dog, do you use STP on every shaft seal? The old timers on my job seem 50/50 split between STP and capella 68. Appreciate your videos.
@speculatorfaecum6938 It really depends on the seal. I mostly use STP. I'll also use the compressor oil on some specific warranty jobs.
How would one move from supermarket refrigeration to industrial refrigeration?
@Cypher15100 You will need bigger tools and get into industrial equipment. this might lead to finding another employer.
Those carel controller programs in the century units can give you unnecessary issues.
@danh2645 Yes. but they always fix these issues. We had some issues, and they sent out 2 of their guys to fix them. Century does care!
I really hope we get to see more of this repair, keep making these videos man! They're great
Have you ever been able to remove a leaking shaft seal , clean it up , replace o -rings re - oil and re- use ? Or best to replace
@locklyn9572 only when i cant get another seal. its best to replace it if you can.
Можно шлифовать кольца на притирочной плите. Работает как новое
Do you use the logging much?
Good job guys 🎉
what were the symptoms?
I noticed a Phillips 3 way valve, when this valves open to feed high pressure gas the rest of the valves on that trap suffer. If possible, reducing high pressure gas helps preventing that.
@@davidsr79 it's regulated at 90 psig.
I suggest - kill the music and explain what’s you are doing.

I knew it was a BAC before I saw the logo lol, my pumps are horizontal and we haven't seen any failures like that.
@jordanrobertson7824 I've replaced 3 pumps on 3 Different condensers in the last 2 months and they all failed this way.
