I’m actually shocked that you get negative comments and this is coming from a senior citizen 40+, lol. have you ever wondered why sometimes filming/camera was not allowed? did you ask why, as it does not make sense. I can't find/explain any security reasons to record any area around the Pyramids or even street and/or any area of any city. The only reason came to my mind was "stupidity" or "stubbornness". The tour guide lady was knowlegable about the history of the pyramids. She gave you good lecture of the subject . I believe you could've given her some english letters pronounsation by explainig to her that there is difference between the letter "P" and "B" as she said many times "Beoble"/"Beeble" instead of "People" .

My younger sister and I (65) visited Dubai last October. Cairo is very similar. We visited without a guide however, we acquired one in our driver. He’s Pakistani and he answered ALL of our questions. We did explore the city on our own and felt very comfortable. Yes we were hounded by merchants but soon learned to ignore them. They called us “brown sugar,” “Beyoncé”, and any other brown skinned celebrity to get our attention. We felt safe at all times. All in all it was an awesome adventure and I can’t wait to get back. I so envy the young people of our country who are able to travel as you do, it was not so easily on the table for my generation. I’m so happy and am proud of you. Keep doing what you do and enjoy your life; time passes quickly. I extend blessings of peace and protection to you wherever you go.❤
