Much respect to you for being so adventurous and following your heart and intuition on where and how to travel. I'm much older than you and have travelled solo since I was young and continue to do so. My experience with Egypt was similar to yours (although I'm not the friendly type and rarely make travel friends), I did hire a female guide to visit the pyramids but overall the visit was as I expected. I'm immune to scammers and beggars but generally would give coins to toilet operators and such knowing how poor everyone is. You mention other places in Africa that you will visit, yes, your experience will be different and from my perspective more enjoyable. What a great life experience.

Finally, don't ever change your personality or who you are, I believe that you attract the energy you give and also when you're genuinely respectful, kind and friendly- it's def hard to attract DARK VIBES. Divine is correct, to think you changed a seat, found a friend, dr no less, and then ended up sitting NEXT to her .. I mean, WOW! Thank you Jesus! We are in Egypt, the situation is very safe and the people are very friendly. As for buying her a drink, it is a common thing in Egypt, as a normal hospitality.
Yes, I’ve always had three color copies of my passport that were delegated to family, friend, and my doctor or attorney. . I never left my actual passport behind anywhere. If anything dangerous in a foreign country had happened, such as a “911”, then having your original passport could keep you from going through some serious problems in a hospital or with an embassy or consulate.
Greetings from Michigan! You are so inspiring! I think the vibe you put out in the world makes a big difference when it comes to safety. I've been to both Istanbul and Cairo in the past. I'll never forget how warm and welcoming these people are. Have a great time, dear Jasmine. I've subscribed 😊
Hey Jasmine, I just came back from living in Egypt for a little over a year and I’m a foreigner from Canada. I just wanted to let you know they have a tipping culture. For the lady in the washroom and for workers who do jobs like hers, they don’t get a high salary ofc so they really depend on those tips. You should also know that people are struggling in Egypt so any chance you get to give charity you should cuz that really helps them out. Ofc there’s a different between getting scammed and tipping a little more. Also last thing Egypt is beyond just the pyramids they have great entertainment, restaurants, cafes, malls, and amazing beaches!!Overall watching this vlog made me feel really nostalgic.
I came here to say the same thing about the lady in the washroom (and other places). They get paid very little, so rely on tips from kind people, just like servers in US restaurants expect to get some of their pay from tips. Many Egyptians are struggling financially but try their best to make a little money wherever they can. I haven't been to Egypt since beginning of the Covid pandemic, but when I was there, I generally found the Egyptians to be friendly and welcoming.
I found your video on my feed. I actually traveled to Egypt in 2010 by myself and fluid to Cairo. I was there five weeks.... I traveled alone and enjoyed the food but I was sick while I was there...... The food was great and the people were so nice..... I loved Koshary and egyptian pickles..... I attended an Egyptian wedding in Zifta.... Traffic is unbelievable.... I live in Texas and the drivers here are bad but the drivers there! I was so scared......I loved the trip and seeing their culture... I had the strawberry drink too and aldo sugar csne juice from a vendor on the streets of Cairo
I have watched a few of your videos particularly about Turkey. I was there for 2 weeks and needed insight as an American myself. I had to subscribe (thought I did earlier). Anyway stay safe and I will be awaiting your next video.
You remind me so much of myself when I was young. I was traveling all over the world due to my work and because I use to love to travel and see other cultures. I use to scare my parents to death with worry for me.. Due to the grace of god I kept myself safe. Just be very careful and I am thoroughly enjoying your channel...

Jasmine drank from that driver’s smoothie from his straw. That would have been a big No thanks. Too many people are trying to be safe, especially since Covid is still around. Even without a Covid concern, anyone especially a stranger could possibly have a disease or mouth infection. Just think before you drink. Nobody is that cute. When in doubt, do without.

I'm an older viewer, and I started watching Jasmin's channel when she was in Mexico. I agree; her spirit and energy are fantastic. I'm learning so much; one day, I may travel the world, too. She proves that no one is ever too young or old to learn anything new, regardless of age.
@@EyEReign Hi! Wishing both of us fun travels! Let's explore the world! 🙏🏾❤
Habibi!!!!!!! I absolutely loved Egypt when I visited! It was surreal. The history, the land- I was in awe everywhere I went. Ahhhh! Nicest people I’ve ever met 😭 Love to see you there!!! ❤❤❤
Nobody begged you for money
@@antinatalistwitch111 yeah they did but mostly in the real touristy places. TBH people thought I was Arab so I didn’t get bothered as much as others. I also hired an amazing guide
Very glad to hear you has great experience in Egypt 🥰
Hope to revisit us soon ☺️
We say masr nawaret ( Egypt has been brightened up with your visit)
yall vibe is adorable.
I did NOT share that man straw 😂 he drunk it after me. NOT before ! Y’all are as crazy as this traffic 💀

Jasmine! Please, please, PULEEZE write an adventure travel book! PLEASE! Jasmine, I don't know how to execute this BUT I "see" the potential. What I see is YOU being a whole brand: adventure novels for all WOC...ages 4 and up, movies, series, board games...you name it! You're like Carmen Sandiego!

Thanks for sharing!! Love your videos, please keep them coming. My son just returned from the Philippines Thailand, and Japan. He absolutely loved it there. Japan and Thailand he loved the most. He also tries to stay a few months to get a feel for the places. He is a young professional who loves to travel as well. It is so important to see the world through the eyes of people who look like us and the unique experiences we may face. Keep traveling and living life!! 👍🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Yessss. Unfortunately , men seldomly travel solo as much as women do outside of business trips. So so happy for him !! 🤍✨
As an Egyptian, wanted to say welcome to Egypt! It’s a welcoming country it’s sad to hear people hate tourists which is not true, maybe some simpler people might not speak english but they are maybe not knowing how to translate! Try to see it all around, eat a lot, I would say stay safe as any place in the world! Be open to take in the culture as it’s beautiful and people are very kind! Tipping is known as a lot of people don’t get paid enough and these tips help them a lot in living. Hope you have fun in the trip!
I have no idea how I came across your channel but you're delightful!!!! Absolutely adore you!
I appreciate you , thank you for watching ! 🥹❤️

I’m so glad that I found your video. I just spent a month traveling around Europe and now I’m looking forward to traveling to Egypt. 🇪🇬
I loved that Uber driver! He seemed to be so friendly and polite. 🙏🏽What a polite host. They gave you a beautiful cake! I think it's kind of you to consider the people and such in mind and not saying things are cheap. Very nice. I hope to visit one day and hope he'll be my driver too!!🤣🤣 I hope you enjoy your trip and post more. Stay safe! 🙏🏽
One of my top comfort RUclipsrs and my favourite travel RUclipsr .The quality and consistency of your content just keeps increasing! Also, my heart was racing witnessing your chaotic Uber ride😅
The fruits and vegetables in Egypt are the best I’ve tasted in my life. ❤ such a fun vlog!
Welcome to Egypt, Jasmine!
Thank you 😊
OMG. I love your videos. Its like im traveling with you. Stay safe.😊
Jasmine you are a awesome person be careful and enjoy your travels i love your blogs!!!!
Jasmine I was worried but you did alright girl. God has your guardian angels with you. always. ❤
I love your personality! You're not a stuck up traveler, you're just so nice and personable with everyone! Even you drinking the drink from him was like WOW! I really like you!!!
Wow! What a great vlog!! Never seen your channel before or even heard of it. Just clicked on cause it was a suggested video. And I loved every second of it! Btw, that Egyptian Uber driver was a hottie. Although the driving gets a 1 outta 10. 🤪I am subscribing immediately. Cant wait to really dig into your channel. Thank you!

We all got the same eyes 🫣
Really enjoying this adventure! But, please, don't take unsealed drinks from strangers. He knows you are alone and where you are staying.
we don't spike drinks in Egypt. and the first time I saw this weird thing as an Egyptian was in an American short.
But like, who even has the means to drug something 😂 no seriously doe, who just has drugs on hand in Egypt at most itd be cannabis (marijuana, hashish) and cant do shi with that anyway 😂 idk how in the USA apparently everyone has access to some goddamn crazy level drugs

And to answer the Police Hospital q, it means this is a hospital built by the police and mainly services policemen and their families. You'll see others for the military and other big entities in the country. Have a safe trip and hope you enjoy it here ❤
Please know that Cairo is very different from the rest of Egypt. Luxor is where you want to anchor and fly up to Cairo for 3 days of sightseeing. Luxor has more to see. And if you can, go to Aswan for 2 days.
i agree. i lived in egypt for a year and luxor was my home base.
Agree 100%. Luxor and Aswan are my two favourite places in Egypt.
Wow, hopefully you see the 4500 year old Sphinx...truly amazing!

Dang, he didn't mind using the same straw. Lol
Might need to have him as a Uber during the whole travel experience.
I thought the same thing… if possible I would hire him as a private driver. I am an Uber driver sooo it’s definitely a negotiable situation. She can pay him on the side instead of going thru the Uber app.
So beautiful! If I were young again, this is exactly what I would be doing.
I have been binge watching your videos this morning. Thanks for the content, as I travel vicariously through you! Keep enjoying yourself and safe travels. God bless!
Omg this is the most entertaining travel vlog I've seen in a while!!
As a female solo traveller myself, I love seeing THIS and not a curated version of the places as if they were filming a documentary. So glad your channel came up, even had to put notifications on to get alarms for your new videos! 💫💫
Sharing the drink with the uber LMFAOOO haha he seemed really nice though
I love your attitude towards traveling! You are very adaptable and humble. I love that! I went to Turkey last year and fell in love. I am currently doing my research on Egypt. Its been on my travel bucket list for a while and you just convinced me. :)
Thank you!! Both are definitely worth the visit ✨🛩️
You are so funny. 😅 I love your outgoing attitude and joy of meeting new people. I pray for safety throughout your travels. Good luck and I hope you have a great experience in Egypt. 😊
Saw that room is such a vibe. That looks like such a cozy spot to sleep. Also forever happy for you. Thanks for sharing.
Enjoyed the conversation with you and the Dr. at the airport and in flight. That ride was wild. Enjoy yourself and stay safe.
Uber Driver Translation: Welcome to Egypt! I’m happy to have you in my car. I hope you’re enjoying the ride, and I hope you have a wonderful time in Egypt. -
I usually never watch travel video this long, but you’re just the most nicest and genuine person I’ve come across in RUclips. 🥰
I love that you always find a friend lol ❤😂
OmGosh Jasmine! Girl, you had me LAUGHING to tears while in THE UBER! 😆 I just knew someone was going to say something to you about (sharing straws) too ... I just really "feel" your spirit and totally understand, and mehh. Those drinks looked DE-LISH! & Side note, Egypt drivers are very much like India drivers- almost exactly. 💯 on how you are respectful on the cheap/not cheap aspect as well.
I feel that was a VERY favorably set "tone" for your trip! I pray that I'm correct in my thinking too! I cannot wait to see your next videos! Stay you, and stay Blessed, Sis!! 🙏✝️🩵
You just popped in my feed and I want to say that I get so excited to see us in the far reaches of the world being ourselves and shining! Your camera presence is an honest funny that is charming. So, maybe we will run into each other, but if we don’t I subbed to your channel! May you be blessed with traveling grace, new friends wherever you go, peace, and eternal joy!
😂😂😂thats too funny! He left you with his uber! lol. He trust you. Looks a little wild out there😊.
Done left me on guard 😂
We are in Egypt, the situation is very safe and the people are very friendly. As for buying her a drink, it is a common thing in Egypt, as a normal hospitality.
Great vid! Cannot wait to see what happens next.
Keep 3 copies.of your passport either with a friend or stashed somewhere safe
Yes, I’ve always had three color copies of my passport that were delegated to family, friend, and my doctor or attorney. . I never left my actual passport behind anywhere. If anything dangerous in a foreign country had happened, such as a “911”, then having your original passport could keep you from going through some serious problems in a hospital or with an embassy or consulate.
Also use the smart program at the US STATE DEPT. Anything pop off they will know an American is there.

Girl, you had me in stitches 😂..that Uber driver was a pretty cool dude. Egypt is beautiful. As they say: Merhaba and Ahlaan Wa Sahlaan.. Typical Arab greetings.
Well said..i feel like Egypt is so misunderstood by so many travellers..you have to stay more than a few days and you definitely go with the flow!
Very glad to hear you had great experience in my country Egypt 🥰
Hope to visit us again soon 😊
I came here to say the same thing about the lady in the washroom (and other places). They get paid very little, so rely on tips from kind people, just like servers in US restaurants expect to get some of their pay from tips.
Many Egyptians are struggling financially but try their best to make a little money wherever they can.
I haven't been to Egypt since beginning of the Covid pandemic, but when I was there, I generally found the Egyptians to be friendly and welcoming.
Good to know about tipping. So many countries outside of the United States don't allow tipping, so it's good to know those who do.
No, people don’t have to tip if they don’t want to. It’s a nice thing to do if she tips but it’s not cultural and some do it and many don’t.
I always LOVE the way you say “Baby” timestamp 9:40 Girl, it’s like your TRADEMARK saying 🥰🤝. I’m here for it 🙌🏾.
27:22 Jassss you sharing the straw 😂😂😂😂 . I am literally cracking up because you didn’t even think about it.
I can totally understand that too... In fact, I'VE done the same! 😆

Have fun and stay safe. I was there last summer the people are very kind and sweet

Yes, definitely be careful. They are hard working people but some will do anything to get work. One guy bagged my groceries and held them hostage until my Uber arrived so that he could put them in the trunk and charge me for it. I offered a bill, he shook his head and pointed at a bigger one. 😂
I was told driving in Vietnam was bad but Egypt was next level. No blinkers, no red lights, a car caught on fire, people cut us off while riding camels and being pulled by donkeys. Pure chaos and they didn't even have road rage. They honk just to let people know they're getting over. 😂
Definitely try the date juice and their falafel(I had to stop eating other kinds after having theirs)
