Think it is SO important to say that not everyone will have the same experience as you. You are so pleasant to everyone you meet while having street smarts. That is SUCH a rare combination. I've traveled the world and can relate to this kind of mood. I hope everyone is noticing that! Please also continue to speak to safety and how you make sure people can't track your whereabouts unless that doest concern you. People want to interact with you because of your energy. That is not a common trait.

If you have let the driver keep going for 10 more minutes ( really 10! ) from the co-working space, you will hit the neighborhood of ' Balat'. Some people travel to istanbul just to see that place. It's an awesome neighborhood, a must see and you are so close to it!

I have only been to the airport in istanbul. I took a smaller plane to Izmir. The locals don't speak as much english in izmir. Next time i go, i will chill in Istanbul for a few weeks.
No one speaks English here in Antalya and are not very social. There seems more diversity in Istanbul and accepting. I wonder if she met any lady friends yet. Turkish men are flirty by nature.
Most Turks understand English very well but are not good at speaking it.

Hey Jasmine, i was wondering if you've been to the Apple store in Istanbul for your computer? Also if you haven't liked the food you've had so far i recommend places like Big Chefs or Midpoint. They have a lot of options on their menu. Hope you have a nice stay there :)

Hi Jasmine, I found your blog tonight and I’m binging in tears… loved Istanbul and miss it so much. I had the privilege of being able to meet amazing people there from a consulting design job I had. I’m in fashion and I was a creative director for a start up where we did some of our production there and our team from there showed me Istanbul like a love story. Not boasting but yeah , I only stayed at the Soho House Istanbul , but GIRL she livin her best life so yes, I only stayed there. If you have a chance swing by there, have a drink in there oasis of a garden or check out the roof top, its near all the main shopping area I saw you in. LOL you can look it up. I have some spots to share with you. But if you haven’t already you MUST do a boat trip on the Bosphorus Sea. It’s amazing …!!! Love your blog!!! You are a trailblazer love you vibe and flow , fearless and fun!!!! I’m going to look up the spot I thought you might enjoy it’s a must go. Istanbul is a trip without its every city in Europe wrapped up in one. ❤❤❤

I'm a bit sad that you haven't had good Turkish food yet. 🥲 Our food is really good if I may say so myself. I'm not very familiar with restaurants in Istanbul but can ask my friend who lives there and get back to you. If you haven't been yet I would recommend trying 'Big Chefs' for now. They have several locations in Istanbul. 💞

Istanbul is such a city that there are hundreds of everything. Everything. So don't worry about whether this or that is there. Just type the name of the thing you want on Google Maps and see how many there are. Istanbul is a city like a country. It has a population larger than hundreds of countries. Don't think of it as a small place. It takes 1.5-2 hours to go from one place to another in Istanbul.
Yes. Last time I checked, Istanbul has a population of 15 million people.
