Yes I don’t see any issue. It was respectful and I appreciate that you gave him honest feedback. That is so much better than getting an attitude and never letting the person know what they did wrong. New sub!
Rina, traveling solo is not a problem, there are so many lovely people around the world. And you know what, you might find you are safer abroad than in your own city.Im talking from experience
I'm a 57 yr old mother of 2 grown kids. Married 30 yrs last May. Lost him in June. I'm so proud of you traveling the world is enough. But you're doing it alone. God bless you and continue to cover you. Girl, in the last 5 yrs something changed in me. Im afraid to go to the damn mailbox alone. I was never like this before. 😢😢Enjoy Sweetie
Please find the strength and courage to go back out. The Lockdown knocked everyone in some shape or form, but once you’re out and about and about new places, you’ll thrive. I’ve done a solo week in Istanbul and even went to the coworking space Jasmine went to. Loved it
It is my prayer that as you navigate this new chapter of your life, God will give you peace, strength and courage to continue to not only live, but love life. That you will be surrounded by friends and family who pour into you. It is definitely a process, but be open, God’s got you! Sending you continued positive thoughts and prayers.
To mentionI just turned 62, I totally agree. My family was always asking me where I was jetting off to or if I was in town. Now, since covid I truly hate leaving my house. This year I stepped out on faith and flew to LA for a concert. I recently took up the offer for a 8 day cruise. It's baby steps sis we git this. Mentally prepare yourself maybe start like I did. Took my self on a date. Treated myself yo breakfast, went shopping , then went to a movie had dinner and called it a night. It felt so good.
Jasmine I’m glad you didn’t allow other opinions to determine your travels. Everyone’s experiences are different. You’ve experienced the good and bad but it’s yours. Love watching your journey because it’s so inspiring and authentic. ❤
What an adventure you've had in Cairo!❤ I’m excited to find out what unexpected moments came up in your last days there, and I can’t wait to see where you’re headed next. This journey has been such a fun ride to follow! 😁😁
I just binged a few of your Cairo videos! I am going to Cairo for Christmas this year to meet my boyfriends family and it is so nice to see what the city is like through your videos. I love how long they are and how you show so many different aspects, so thank you for sharing your trip!!!
When you asked if he could tell you about the place upon arrival, I knew that was not a good sign considering he was a tour guide. I didn't get a sense of your usual self with him. You likely helped him become a better guide, if he utilizes your constructive advice.
Salaam or merhaba as u say..lol..man u looked so bored at the fayoum oasis. Who advised you to go there?? You would have had way more fun on a cruise down the nile to luxor & aswan. Plus you would have had ppl to have fun with. You are a lively, bubbly girl. You should gave gone to a beach resort. Sharm el sheikh or Ain el sokhna or hurghada.Egypt has some of the world's best beaches. White powder sand on both coasts. The museum looks amazing. Way more displays than when i last visited it. Egypt needs a good month. Alexandria is gorgeous. Siwa oasis with the outdoor salt baths. I think a guide is a good investment in the museum..new museum will be spectacular..they moved most of the mumnies there. Some nice footage in the museum. Stay safe in morocco..the hustle is real there! I feel like you didnt spend your time in the best places in Egypt..being stuck in cairo can be exhausting!
Absolutely enjoyed the journey with you. The museum was spectacular! I was overwhelmed just thinking about the history. Stay safe and continue to enjoy your travels 🙏🏾
Hello, my name is Nika. I am new to your channel. I’ve been at home healing from surgery and came across your page on RUclips by accident and I have not been able to stop watching. I just finished watching all of your videos from Egypt and now I am, just starting the video where you’re going to Morocco I just wanted to let you know that you are inspiring me to step out of my comfort zone and not be scared. All the girls that look like me.🤚🏾 I’ve been binge watching all day and I am enjoying what I see. Thank you so much for the videos that you put out. Be safe and hope to see you when I step out.
The most interesting part of Egypt would have been going down to Luxor and touring the valley of the kings. I feel like you like to keep things grounded and local, but it’s the true highlight of the country from my experience.
Aw man, you defo had bad luck with the guide unfortunately. My wife and I went there last September and our guide was awesome. Explained everything, gave us a history lesson on the way there, stopped at a restaurant mid way to get food and water, we sand boarded and sailed a boat l. Was a fabulous experience. The only downside was there was a lady with us who was rude and brought the energy down a bit. But that didn’t deter what was a great trip and experience
37:09 the “comb” is actually the letter N in hieroglyphics. My father brought me back a picture of the the hieroglyphic alphabet and a cartouche. I’m loving everything in the museum! This is beautiful. I agree with you, I don’t need a guide. Just let me explore on my own and take in all the statues and artwork at my own pace
You were right. He wasn’t engaging. Especially when the previous guides you had were so wonderful. Glad you spoke on it. But in all glad you immersed yourself in the culture. Keep being brave and curious!👍🏾

omg it was a hard watch in the beginning, I still admire that you did this trip!! swear that first day with the guy driving crazy was the best vlog. Also, you looked sooo beautiful next to the Egyptian statues, looked like you just belong there... That was our people! period.
Your comment came right after I said to myself, "Is that guy upset, or something? He seems off". The very next thing you basically said was this guy wasn't all there, and he was making you feel a certain kind of way. I felt his negative vibe thru my laptop weeks later.:) Amazing! lol:) ty for the video...living this dream thru you:)
The Egyptian countryside is fascinating. I always wanted to see Wadi al Hitan (Valley of the Whales). It's a place that has gnarly ancient whale fossils from the Eocene epoch 50 million years ago. They are exposed on the surface easy to see and were probably the inspiration for ancient Egyptian folk lore like "The Tale of the Shipwrecked Sailor."
Just discovered your channel (thank you RUclips algorithm). I got back from my first solo international trip this week, so seeing these videos now inspires me to keep doing it. I admire how you shamelessly speak up and stand up for yourself because I’m shy and definitely hold my tongue a lot. I’m going to be more like you on my next trip lol. Question-did you say you’re South African for safety reasons?
Jasmine😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 at 42.58… yes gruesome… it reminds me of a computer game I used to play with my daughter for hours back in the 90s called ‘Where in the world is Carmen Sandiago…’, where she travelled the world solving crimes and explored museums ans famous sites, you also had to complete puzzles 🧩 in order to move on otherwise you could be stuck in a country or city until you completed the task…and when she went to Egypt my daughter and I had to collect the body parts and put them in huge vials… the game was amazing it would explain in detail the criteria for preparing the dead in ancient Egypt 😂😂😂… miss that game … its was soo educational…
Thanks for another Awesome vlog! I didn’t know you were an Aquarius. I’m a January Aquarius and our bday is coming soon! You are truly an Inspiration and I appreciate your honesty. That tour guide gave the worst vibes from jump. I could tell the energy was off because he was more standoffish while you were being super friendly. I knew when you cut the video you had enough. I even felt bad for your experience. It was a lesson learned and you’ll know what to do next time. All was not lost. I felt like I was on the trip with you. I enjoyed every moment. Maybe in the future you can plan a trip your followers can participate in one day. I would love to tour Egypt and travel more in general.
Thanks to the algorithm I found you a few days ago....binged watched and I've been waiting on your upload😊. I admire your adventurous and joyful spirit. Oh, and your footage and edits are top tier 👌🏽!!
Hi Jasmine, Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your vlogs. You truly amaze me with your courageous stance on life and experiencing the world and solo. You are so astute, I listened when you spoke of the tour guide that was funny but true. When you were in the museum and you spoke about the noses you & I know what happen to them, the current Egyptians that occupy that land called Egypt are trying to disconnect Egypt from Africa. You & I know the truth that’s all I’m saying. Look at the billboards you’ll see light skin Egyptians almost “white” yes you have some with darker skin but They would prefer to be lighter, that makes them look too much like us. Sometimes when you were filming I noticed how they stared or turned around when you pass them on your outings, as though to say “what are you doing here, who are you. Keep up that beautiful spirit and enjoy your travels, I will continue to watch and travel along with you. As a 72 yr Black retired woman I hope to travel to the motherland & especially Egypt. God bless🙏🏽💜
✨Being An African American Mother Of 2 Women… My Heart Would Be In My Stomach! I Admire Your Courage! Your Strength! Your Determination…. Do You Baby Girl. Safe Travels And Blessings!✨🩷
I like that you are showing us parts of Egypt that are not in the Rick Steve views of Egypt. He’s never shown us what you’re showing. More authentic not all tourists attractions. ❤
i love your videos so much. inspires me to work hard so i can travel the world with my boyfriend & family. egypt is now 100% on my bucket list. those pyramids, museum & the restaurant with the sun set view?!😍😍😍😍so unreal! continue to enjoy your trips & be safe always!
Your editing is beautiful!!! I wonder if these travels will lead you into producing when you realize how good you are!? May God continue to bless your experiences, bless you, and may you seek Him to be with you always. You inspire admiration.
Thank you for the Egypt tour that museum was amazing 😩 felt like I was right there with you! Great video ❤️ keep speaking up for yourself sometimes it’s needed and you’re alone so I totally understand 🙌🏽
Thanks for the vlogs! Egypt is amazing and I love the vast diversity in the landscape. My dad did a cruise down the Nile and had an amazing time. I’m loving that you found pancakes! 😂 I appreciate you letting me live the experience with you. ❤❤
Jasmine, the POTTERY CAFE was a true find; 24-7h, 365 days a year. 🙌🏽 I love your camera shots when travelling in car & on foot. Next time, for the Desert Party, try to go to Sharm-el-Sheik, in Sinai, Eygpt; great snorkeling & deep-diving; they can also issue you a license. I lived there for a year; 88-89. *barbeque on the beach & sunset is must *bread & hard-boil eggs for fish *water-proof camera Watching you go down that trail, gave me FLASH-BACKS of going down MASAADA'S Donkey-Trail. *near death experience Yes, always speak your peace; calmly, concisely & respectfully, cuz you are paying for a service & SETTING-THE BAR, for future vistors that look like YOU. *thank you 🌻💚 What you were seeing in the museum, what is loaned out to others, plus everything in the achives, isn't even 1/10 of ALL of the artifacts that had been robbed/pillaged from the tombs & museums, throughout the centuries; the Vatican cellars & private black-market collectors possess more than the country. smh Billy Carson, 4BiddenKnowledge.com & YT also has a series on it. Oh, the comb shape was the symbol for water ♒️ .
I’d love to see you travel to Poland, Scotland, Ireland and Denmark. You’ll love it over there. Amazing people, beautiful culture and so much to see and do.
Yea i totally understand now, at first i thought why not go to aswan or luxor since you're already there, but now i get it, like traveling shouldnt be a rush and get to everything that u can get to, u have to soak it in, relax and feel like yea this is how life is in this city, I do hope u come back for the rest sure but i think you did what's best to truly enjoy and soak in the experiences, like to truly live there not to just see everything quick, good job That restaurant at the sunset was so worth it 😮cool af
Girl, you so grave to go to Egypt by your self, I am Egyptian and in 2009 I went after 20 years I was in USA , I was scared to go any where by my self. Have fun bab❤
Serious questions but what were you expecting to learn about a waterfall and a mountain? It was a laid back location and I think that was part of the let down.
Hello iam new to your channel and I love all your videos so far i have to go look at some of your other videos but I want to say thank you for this trip it was so beautiful you have brong me to a place without me even been there in person it was so peaceful
What a delight to have you back, thought you were up-to some good discovery and lots todos. A wonderful job done as usual, have fun 🌍🌞🌍🌞🌍🥰 Talking about deserts raves, there are some each year celebrating Western New Year in the Namib Desert the oldest desert in the world which is in Namibia. It was amazing partying under the clear skies and under the milkey way. The crowed is also a mix from local Namibians and South Africans as Namibia were part of South Africa and after apartheid gained its independence from South Africa and before that it were colonized by Germany (also a dark history of crimes commited by Germany in Namibia, the worlds first Genocide and Holocaust when the Germans looted the local Nama and Herero communities from their land cattle and resources then killed them by sending them into the desert, followed by SA Apartheid). So lots of local Germans and South Africans visiting friends and family in Namibia is there during Western Christmas summer holiday in December/January. Their nightlife is unforgetable too Namibians like their party time. It is on the Namibian coast usually between Swakopmund and Walvisbay. The capital Windhoek is a vibrant, rich and diverse city, and you can also visit nice lodges in the country side. Nice that you have took the time for rhe Museum visits knew that you will like it 😊 The noses are gone because they were Black people, you can also cleary see the Afro braids and hairstules on the statues. Luckily they did not destroy that🙏🏾 In west Africa and also Namibia you will find the original Stone, Iron and Wood Masons and you will see more and more of their art om the street markets and villages and it will all be clear who crafted the original Kemet civilization... Know yourself, the Truth Shall set you free"Kemet Proverb" you should have a nice foot massage, your poor feet must be begging for some with all these walks you are doing😊 in the South of the Mother Land the locals also speaks more English than in the North of the continent. Same like in Kenya...The food is also the best and freshest, you will have a ball of a time. The Game lodges are also super amd very exclisive and luxurious and there are many options to choose from.
Hi Jasmine, I hope and pray all is well. Thank you for taking us with you on your wonderful excursions. Yes, your guide was not into his job. I feel all of your tour guides should be more protective of you especially since you are visiting. This means walking at a slight distance and not looking as if they are trying to lose you. But, despite it all, you remained calm and collected. Question; what do you carry in your backpack on your outings? I think mine would be packed with hand sanitizers, wet wipes, sunscreen, bottles of water, ice packs, peanut butter crackers, apples…ect. cuz girl….😂 take care and stay safe my dear.
They were dark Egyptian people, which is why they took the nose off of the status! I dislike when people think we're ignorant to believe ever nose is gone from the stone that is still intact! Smh
@@MonicaLovelyGant it's an ancient statue, It will obviously be damaged, and the nose is one of the most fragile parts of the statues, Another reason is that in the Egyptian mythology, They used to believe that the statues have Spirits inside, So the robbers of the tombs used to break the noses because they were Afraid the spirits would haunt them, Also there's Many statues with their noses till this day, For example, Nefertiti's Bust, Seated scribe, Many statues of Hatshepsut has the nose, Tutankhamen's mask, And many others, It's important to note that there's Millions of Egyptian artifacts, Not all of the statues have broken noses.
I 'thank the gods' that your video popped up in my feed!👍🙂 but truly, unfairly, I had too much going on this morning to give it proper attention. so it's SAVED for a more attentive viewing, which it and you absolutely 💯% do deserve. in the meantime, *thank you* for the labor required to help educate us, to share your adventures with us & that SAID: heard enough to SAY you did that 'tour guide' a huge favor because, *YES,* we all need to make use of money, omg but I already know you'll *forever* be remembered by him *because* your honesty helped him to eventually find his true path in *Life,* & whether or *not* you're a friend to him in the future.☯☯
Hello! I just stumbled on your vlog and I enjoyed your adventure... In regards to the Radio Shacks statement "Overseas Radio Shacks are Alive and Well" ~ Add Kmarts to that list I've seen them on other vlogs in several different countries. (Miami has the last operational Kmart in the USA)
You're right when you are spending your heart earn money you supposed to get exactly what you pay for but hopefully the rest of your trip will be like you want it to be I've always dreamed of going to Egypt and seeing the pyramids but watching your videos make me feel as if I'm there with you I love your videos you're an inspiration very Lively bubbly you give me so much hope cuz at 56 I've never left America I have yet to plan my trip for Abu Dhabi keep the videos coming and enjoy your life may God bless you abundantly.
I laughed out loud when you said the old man said, “No, no, no!” When you thought he was the rideshare, but it is extremely important to get into the right car. The guide situation was unfortunate but the footage was still great. Why do I know that look at around 42:56 😂
I love how you are brutally honest and DO NOT allow people to take advantage of you. And sets boundaries!!
Beautiful, talented and strong young lady.

Love your vlogs. Thank you for sharing your trip. Traveling thru you. You are very brave to travel by yourself.
Thanks for watching ✨💕🧚🏽♀️
Good for you standing up for yourself I completely understand
✨Being An African American Mother Of 2 Women… My Heart Would Be In My Stomach! I Admire Your Courage! Your Strength! Your Determination…. Do You Baby Girl. Safe Travels And Blessings!✨🩷
I like that you are showing us parts of Egypt that are not in the Rick Steve views of Egypt. He’s never shown us what you’re showing. More authentic not all tourists attractions. ❤
Yeaahhh you posted!!! Love your videos. Stay safe ❤

*barbeque on the beach & sunset is must
*bread & hard-boil eggs for fish
*water-proof camera
Watching you go down that trail, gave me FLASH-BACKS of going down MASAADA'S Donkey-Trail.
*near death experience
Yes, always speak your peace; calmly, concisely & respectfully, cuz you are paying for a service & SETTING-THE BAR, for future vistors that look like YOU. *thank you 🌻💚
What you were seeing in the museum, what is loaned out to others, plus everything in the achives, isn't even 1/10 of ALL of the artifacts that had been robbed/pillaged from the tombs & museums, throughout the centuries; the Vatican cellars & private black-market collectors possess more than the country. smh
Billy Carson, 4BiddenKnowledge.com & YT also has a series on it. Oh, the comb shape was the symbol for water ♒️ .
❤❤❤ I’ve viewed several of your vlogs in the last week. Love it here! Subscribed!
Happy you posted friend! Missed your vids now that I’m caught up . This one is a needed distraction this morning let me enjoy ❤

You’re a real trooper. Didn’t see any women climbing up the cliff. The guys were all looking at you😂
I admire your courage. Thanks for sharing.
The cafe and the Nile sunset looks very pretty.
That symbol you pointed out in the museum was not a COMB ! it was the MA'AT feather represents (justice, balance) symbol of the Goddess MA'AT.
pops was ready to risk it all at 1:15 lol he called you beautiful
😂😆
Yea i totally understand now, at first i thought why not go to aswan or luxor since you're already there, but now i get it, like traveling shouldnt be a rush and get to everything that u can get to, u have to soak it in, relax and feel like yea this is how life is in this city, I do hope u come back for the rest sure but i think you did what's best to truly enjoy and soak in the experiences, like to truly live there not to just see everything quick, good job
That restaurant at the sunset was so worth it 😮cool af

That's why I keep coming back! you keep it very real an I have an appreciation for that.
Them stones are telling a story about what was going on at that time... AWESOME!
I wonder what the story is...🤔 ❤❤
Thank you for sharing your experience! Off topic; where did you get your pants? Love them!
Smh
@@MonicaLovelyGant it's an ancient statue,
It will obviously be damaged, and the nose is one of the most fragile parts of the statues,
Another reason is that in the Egyptian mythology, They used to believe that the statues have Spirits inside,
So the robbers of the tombs used to break the noses because they were Afraid the spirits would haunt them,
Also there's Many statues with their noses till this day, For example,
Nefertiti's Bust,
Seated scribe,
Many statues of Hatshepsut has the nose,
Tutankhamen's mask,
And many others,
It's important to note that there's Millions of Egyptian artifacts, Not all of the statues have broken noses.
@AboElKheir-Masr 🥰 Thank you
@@MonicaLovelyGant you're welcome.
I 'thank the gods' that your video popped up in my feed!👍🙂
but truly, unfairly, I had too much going on this morning to give it proper attention.
so it's SAVED for a more attentive viewing, which it and you absolutely 💯% do deserve.
in the meantime, *thank you* for the labor required to help educate us, to share your adventures with us & that SAID:
heard enough to SAY you did that 'tour guide' a huge favor because, *YES,* we all need to make use of money, omg but I already know you'll *forever* be remembered by him *because* your honesty helped him to eventually find his true path in *Life,* & whether or *not* you're a friend to him in the future.☯☯
Good Blessed Day! Love your videos! I live vicariously through you my dear.❤ Yes! Now I’m in Egypt 🇪🇬 😊

Oh uncle was mesmerised @1:15 he said ‘you are the beauty’
Hi, Jasmine! Can you give us more Egypt videos?🇪🇬

I laughed out loud when you said the old man said, “No, no, no!” When you thought he was the rideshare, but it is extremely important to get into the right car. The guide situation was unfortunate but the footage was still great. Why do I know that look at around 42:56 😂
The cars were identical 😂 he probably thought I was up to no good 😩
I love the music you add.
