Safe to say, classic Porsches are the must-have hipster accessory of the moment. In less than a month I've seen at least three similar vids of mid-century homes in LA, all with Porsches of a certain vintage on the driveway.

It's an absolutely beautiful home and a truly satisfying experience to watch. As previously mentioned, its so good to see someone who cares for the history of the home and showing it to others. I am very glad I clicked on this video and that the almighty algorithm served it up to me.

It also seems to have found the perfect owners, they seem so appreciative of the design and the history of the building! giving it their own touch while keeping the original intention of the designers at the same time. wonderful! (im also immensely jealous of them being able to have an indoor garden)

My view on many things when it comes to homes, neighborhoods, etc is totally unrealistic- I cannot stand change. I don't understand why people need to knock down or fully gut-remodel things that are still livable condition. I hate new builds if they erase history in the process (e.g. a new subdivision on an old farm or estate, a new build after tearing down a previous home, etc.) So this couple totally has my respect. I got goosebumps listening to the ending segment of the video, LOL. They actually are perfect stewards of this home.

People keep saying they were stuck in thier houses during the pandemic in California, my way of life didnt change I went out to coffee went to beach worked, drove to SF, granted some people used the excuse to stay home because they were done with the drudgery of work.
