So freaking excited for this and it's supposedly coming out in the middle of the year sometime. I do agree with one of the previous commenters about the release on Quest 2 being a bad idea. Just like with flat gaming they're still supporting the Xbox One and PS4 which I think holds things back

I have the official Cable from Meta, when I plug my headset into PC I get a slow charging rate notification and it doesn't keep my headset charged while gaming. I have USB 3.0 and up and still same thing. What could it be

I got the 4080 Super upgrading from 3070 not installed it yet as waiting to pick up DDR5 RAM and Z790 motherboard. I got the i9 13th Gen with my setup. Itll definitely be better for vr needed more vram 😂

I have two rx 590 gme its an old card . My problem is the other one has a smooth and high fps when i play pubg but the other one with tri fan only has 60 fps haha

salty neckbeards in the comments. i would still choose the 4080 now. you can max out the settings and get above 100 fps? wtf else do you need. these dudes who talk are just using there moms credit cards. they all do it.

This worked!! I was losing hope; none of my games were running well - sub 20 FPS. Followed the steps, reinstalled the drivers and voila! It worked!

*Protip if you are still struggling with micro stutters what fixed it almost completely for me was turning on auto bitrate. I don’t see any visual degradation but the motion is smoother.

So I'm really stuck after trying to finally get into PCVR on the cheap, right when the Reverb G2 is being bricked. I've been looking at the PSVR2 specifically because of the OLED and the DP connection. It's for sim racing before all else, so I really want as much clarity at speed as possible, so I thought the PSVR having DP was a done deal on that front, but I'm really curious as to how much you'd say the OLED persistence counteracts the extra clarity of the DPort, specifically while moving quickly. Is PSVR2 a bad call for racing?

I used to use the official link cable but it got so tangled that it broke. I’ve since then switched to Kiwi Design’s link cable and i’ve had a way better experience and my cable hasn’t broke (i got the Kiwi Design cable in 2022)

Excellent news that quest 2 is still supported. I'll probably go for steam version though, my network is 900👆🏻 900 👇🏻 so streaming is a real option that i use, aside from the pancake lens i don't miss out on much by owning a Q2.

AR/VR platform in general right now is in 1% potential while all the flatscreen device has already reached 100% 20 years ago. Wait until we see at least 10% vr gaming. Having a decent inside out body tracking and most of the games implement full body to their games gonna be wild and nutz open even further of what we can do with tech, since wooden stick to poke as tool to full on super computer that generated virtual world for the first time ever in 20th century. Finally a tech that is beyond gimmick and actually improve

I tried everything, the only thing that fix it for me (on 7800 xt): - uninstaling radeon software via DDU - installing ONLY the driver (make sure you select driver only) - disabled FTMP via Bios - enabling 4g decoding & rebar (re-size bar) from bios unfortunately in this way I cannot change settings like anisotropic filtering for games but at least there are no stutters anymore I will never buy an AMD gpu ever again tho

I read other introductions that PSVR2 performs very well on PC. I own Quest3 and Pico4. I bought PSVR2 last week to experience the uncompressed image quality, but I was wrong. I was very disappointed. The image quality of PSVR2 surprised me. Going back to the feeling of the era in 2016, I think my PICO4 is still the best in PCVR. My computer is equipped with 4090, and there is almost zero compression on VD. It is perfect whether in racing WRC or UEVR, although the color It’s not as good as OLED, but I still think PICO4 is the most perfect machine. If you have the ability, you must buy PICO4 ultra! ! PICO has perfect binocular overlap. Now I can only sell my PSVR2 second-hand or play the games on PS5 seriously.

Them supporting Quest 2 in 2025 is a huge setback and disappointment, in my opinion. Unless they have a separate Quest 2 version, there is no way this game will be as advanced as they'd want it to be.

Naah I have the Quest 3 And its straight garbage as a PCVR It lags still gives you 40-60ms thats A LOT! I refunded and now I ordered the PS VR 2!

I like to know why meta has not made a device we can connect to to get full visual performance for pcvr

I like Bone Labs, but it is the only VR game I've ever played that has made me about throw up. I think it's the weird legs and jumping in the game that makes you nauseous. Hopefully, this game isn't like that! I have 1,000 plus hours in VR, and only Bone Labs does that to me. :fixed typo

The problem with bonelab was having to go to RUclips just to even start the campaign! I stayed on RUclips looking at tutorials more than i stayed in the game... That was just garbage to be honest. I mean, the potential was definitely there.....i lost interest very quickly and only went back a few times..... and still couldn't tolerate it 😅

I use a wifi 6 system mesh 1000 megabits speed. The PC is connected to one of the mesh. I can play anywhere within range of the mesh connected wifi6 to my meta quest 3. It's wireless gaming. the app I use is virtual desktop and I adjusted the codec to use the quest 3, set the snapdragon to sharpening technique, godlike settings for 3080 or 4090 rtx, 200mb bandwith. Sharpness enhance 100%. 72hz just because i dont need the extra 90hz. I have not found anything that can beat the quest 3 in sharpness. steamVR settings is at 150% but if you drop it to 70%, you still get massive clarity and you can play high demanding PC games at a reduced GPU cost but a large margin. I can play the oculus store games and pc games just fine. The visual experience is like 8k gaming. Super sharp. I can now play in my back yard.

Personally I can only say disabling the dynamic bitrate can cause HUGE problems. I had similiar settings like this with dynamic bitrate disabled and I had huge problems with stutters for long time until I realized that it's not my hardware but it's the setting. When I finally activated dynamic bitrate suddenly my games were MUCH more fluent. And I have a good cable and bitrate was only set to 700. So be very careful with this setting.
