Very good points! major thing that got me not taking Vr seriously is the teleportation. Dumb immersion-breaking mechanic. There are plenty of games that you can mod with Vr like ghost recon wildlands and resident evil remake 2 and 3. 7 and 8 have VR as well. The lack of official support is also a huge factor for any new tech. i started playing Grid - Forza - ice combat on triple monitors and the peripheral screens are stretched and don't look like the middle monitor. Been like this since 2010. that fisheye effect is making me sick. Vr's next big thing should be 3-4 cameras for movement tracking and sensitive gloves or maybe a minimalist suit like in player ready one.
Motion sickness catering VR games are what’s holding back VR. But I think as this medium becomes more popular we will get better and more dynamic vr games.
There's just no money in building big budget VR games. It's like building games for mac, unless your build pipeline can target mac effortlessly, you are just not gonna do it for that less than 1% extra sales. And there is no easy way to add VR support. Arkham Shadows only exists because it's funded by a loss leader literally losing billions every year hoping it will pay off in the future. Alyx exists for the exact same reason, Valve needed something to show off the Index. The return on investment for VR games is just not there.

Unfortunately your right but at least we have games like alyx and shadow to show other Vr game devs how it should be done.
