Hi Mate. Great looking shelter. On my to get list.I have the XL Matrix side tray which I can adjust to different lengths. I have worked out that if i turn my tray 360 degrees so that the tray will fit the back leg and the front leg i can just insert the Brolly post from below into the centre leg hole, screw it into the 45 degree of set screw position, job done. Brolly up side flaps secured. A great product. Good presentation. Cheers

john i couldn't resist another look at epic fail...i reckon you've learnt the lesson about elastic size since then....i fish a commercial regularly in the south west...admittedly the fish aren't quite as big as landsend speci but there's still quite a few 7 to 9 pounders..i fish hollow 13 preston green with 0.09 to 22..as long as the strike is tiny you wouldnt believe how few fish you loose..no silly short hooklengths needed with this fine kit either..just a comfy 18 inch lash. also very few foulers and very few missed bites like this..banded 4s with very loose band..no hair 👍..ps..say hello to bobby bunghole from me..he'll know who it is

I got one of these for myself as the very concept appealed to me as it would keep almost all of my rig tying stuff neat and tidy, in one place. I then started on the chore of tying up all of my winter silverfish rigs, and I must say, it worked really well for me.After tying up around 40 rigs,, I then came across a big problem…. With the box being plastic, the internal threads on the spool holders is also plastic, while the external nut threads are metal, and I have worn both the internal threads down, to the extent that it is impossible to prevent the spools of line tightened down !! The only way I can use it now is to place the line spool outside of the rig station and put a weight on top of it to keep the line taut while making up the rig…bit of a waste of £60 on my part😊

Great advice. Always thought the bearings on my shuttle were not the best. Never been able to stop mine coming loose. Like you demonstrated if you over tighten they won’t spin. Will update mine with the better bearings. Thanks for filming. All the best Pete 🎣

Have done a similar thing by glueing 2 metal strips in my tray.

I added a thin piece of rigid clear plastic to the inside of the opening to stop water getting in

Hi hello thank you for your tip by the way glue yes screwfix or Toolstation seller Toin one glue one is the spray and one is the activator You can put a small amount of activator on the Magnus spray a little bit in your try where you want it to be and the magnet will stick straight away first time. It’s very powerful. Glue might be about £5 and the spray glue comes with the activator. God bless hope this will help you glue all your magnets faster quicker and better and you won’t have to send the try all the magnets. It’s a very powerful glue and it’ll stick anything all plastic it even sticks metal and you can use it for many things in your house. God bless you

Double sided sticky tape + junior add saw blades in the bottom of your drawer, job done.

Just add magnet sheet to your base better all round

Hi Jon. I have just emailed you a Photo of my system which I set up in Feb this year. All I did got some 1mm Stainless Steel Plate cut to the right size and using double sided tape stuck them to the tray, Job done.Please share the Photo if you want . Cheers.

Would a strip of magnetic tape not work the same? This way your not destroying the hooklegnth sticks. The tape will be self adhesive too.

I put the band on the front metal bent pin and tied normally then used a baiting needle to thread the line through and finish as you do and end with your idea of the knot
