I bought an 8x10 oriental rug and only have a stand alone mirror and little dresser against a wall but it’s super skinny. The rug will be off set if I get the dresser on the rug.

Wish I had seen this video before I sold my last house. Agent said her Broker required the commission to be 6% on the contract but that we could negotiate a rate privately. Well after a multitude of things she did wrong and that I complained to the Broker about, he took her off the contract and handled the sell personally, but still had to pay the 6%.

Haha. My daughter bought an old house in fall 2023. The homeowner who was in her late 30s left about a month of dog poo from 4 dogs, filthy house, and a freezer full of written food in the garage. Her realtor took her husband and daughter to the house to clean it before my daughter moved in. It was filthy. I then went there and spent 3 days cleaning while my husband was fixing things. The owner was supposed to have all the cleaning done, but nope. She told the owners realtor what happened, he said yep, I’ll never be her realtor again. The basement smells like dog pee to this day even after trying several different ways to get rid of the smell.

Sigh on the countertop stuff. Granite is a pain…figuratively and literally. Granite…super hard, unforgiving. Children who accidentally run into it, you accidentally fall on it, you drop ceramics on it….yes, lots of breakage risks. Trying to be quiet? Every dish placement makes plenty noise. And forget wanting or needing to modify it. Your hubby won’t be able to DIY. Trend….not worth it. Sorry, I love the “cheap” looking stuff.
