That mom was a piece of work she told the husband she would divorce if he didn't do his share in the house , but was fine maintaining a marriage where he was extremely neglectful to his own child doing an intervention now is too little too late.

To me, the biggest a-hole in the whole story is the mother. She stayed with the man who called her a cheater, then she basically let this same POS abuse their child her whole life. She should have dumped him, divorced him, and did everything she could to get sole custody of her children.

My mom's sperm donor was an abusive asshole so she moved my 1 year and 5 day older brother clear across the country with our uncle until after she had my baby brother to get away from him. I spent my entire childhood not knowing him until we moved back to our home state because my mom was dodging another abusive relationship (she really knew how to pick em'🙄).
