Great video, Brandon! I came to know that if we are selling digital templates on Etsy that are designed using Canva pro then the customer purchasing the template also needs to have canva pro subscription otherwise they won’t be able to use it. May I know what to do in this scenario? because Canva pro designs are much much better than what they offer in their free version so I am curious how do I get around this bottleneck. I would appreciate your response, thanks!
Hey great vid! Question: If you wanted to do a daily planner and wedding invitation, would you create two separate Etsy account or create one account to sell those products?
Thank you for explaining this so well! I’ve been wanting to start a digital download business or a couple of months and you answered a lot of my questions. You do an excellent job and I appreciate you taking your time to make this video. Thank you!
Hey Brandon, a quick question about the budget planner Canva templates. I know you said you need Canva Pro to create and share templates.. but will the customer also need Canva pro to access your template and be able to edit it? Thanks 😊
would you recommend selling digital art? i have 18 listings up but little to no views. not sure if it’s because of my titles or bc it’s just too competitive
are you suggest to run multiple stores as well? Since there is so many digital niches and POD products I’m not sure which route to go. I know i have to choose only one niche or product per store but how to test multiple niches? I'm interested in printable wall arts, wedding sub niches, product labels etc.
For the client intake forms and onboarding plan, does the customer need to have Canva Pro in order to edit and save the form? I know that I personally need it as the one creating the form, but will the buyer be okay with just the free version of Canva?
Awesome. You are so humble 🙏🏻 question!! Do we need canva pro?? Can we use one month canva pro make all templates and than not use pro?? Will my design saved as links on etsy?? Hope u know wat i mean

It is true sometimes ads doesn’t bring sales in short terms but it brings views and visits in a long terms I don’t why you keep ignoring this fact! I’m sure you can not make a 100 dollars in a short time with 0 dollars ads! It’s impossible
Hey Brandon, thanks as always for your great videos. Wondering if I could get your thoughts on 2 things 1) Have you ever had issues logging into your etsy account from a different location? I am a digital nomad and I was recently suspended on Etsy for a suspicious log-in from my location that doesn't match my shop location or residential address. - 2) Shop location: Do you understand this to be the sellers physical location? Or the location where your shirts are printed and shipped from? There is NO policy on Etsy explaining that. And Etsy is notorious for not answering and getting back to any emails. I ship exclusively from and to the US, but I physically am not in the US. Your thoughts would be highly appreciated! Thank you so much
Question .. because I contacted Canva (I have a pro account) and they said that pro-elements cannot be used in digital printable products for sale , or print-on-demand products. Only free elements . :’) Were you aware of this ? I was gutted . Luckily I didn’t get too far in my Etsy store (3 products in, all using pro elements - no sales though) . Went ahead and deleted all 3 listings. Looking elsewhere now because the free elements are pretty mediocre . :’(
Hi Brandon, I have an old Etsy shop (opened in 2019) where I was selling print on demand products, but I suspended my activity on that shop for almost 4 years now! Recently, I returned back to that shop and rework it to be able to sell digital products and I finally got to the point where I listed my first listing yesterday. Do you think I should be opening a new shop for selling digital items instead of doing all of this? Would there be any negative impact whatsoever on the successfulness of my shop?
Hi Brandon, I wanted to let you know that I checked the box for the SEO playbook but it’s not showing up in PayPal. I though you’d want to know. I’d love to purchase both. Thanks 😊
Hi Brandon! I believe in my state you need a business license to sell digital products. I know you've mentioned before having multiple shops, does that mean you need a new license for each shop, or how to do you merge all of them under one license? 🤔 thanks so much for your content, it's very informative and presented in a clear way😇
Hey Brandon! When listing the template, I understand copying the template link, but where does it go? Do I need to manually message each buyer the link, or can it be automatically released (like digital files post-purchase) in the listing? If so, do I do that? Thanks.
Hi, from experience I found it best to create a new Canva design and pasting the link on this design. Then download it as a PDF so the link works, this way you upload the PDF file on Etsy with the link attatched to it. On this design you can add instructions or a "Thank you for your purchase, follow this link" etc.
Hi Brandon, I love your videos - thanks so much for all the help! My question is, if I use Creative Fabrica to download fonts/graphics and upload them to Canva for a template, the customer will still be able to use it with a free account right? Thank you!
Hi Brandon, thank you for your sharing, I have my shop more than 200 sales and I want to open the 2nd shop, can I open new shop with 1 laptop and 1 bank account or I need to ask help from my relatives? Does this affect my main account? Hope to see your reply
Hi, I saw that if you share the link with the template created with pro canva, after they download it they woul have to pay for the pro designs, right? So, How does clients reacts when they found out that they have to pay more for the template they bought from you? I dont know if this make sense but I am really interested if you reccomend creating canvas as pro or free. Thankss.
Hello, I have a question. If I sell a template on Etsy, I have purchased an account in Canva. I will use some designs on the template. Will the people who purchase the template be able to edit these pro account parts? Thanks
Woah what is that share template link? What do we do, put that in a pdf and then throw the pdf on Etsy so they can get a link to download? And where is it downloading it from? Within CANVA? Confused lol. (Clearly)
Hi Brandon. Great video! Just subscribed to your channel. I am just starting an Etsy store and still on the research part. Do you recommend starting in one niche? Or can I mix them up?

In the video you (if it was you) mocked up a colorful quote sweatshirt with a wavy font. Was this you or am I losing it? And if so do you happen to know what video that is? 😆
Hi Brandon, with regard to selling digital products, if I’m using my pro account to design but the customer who purchases my products only has a free Canva account, can they not then edit the printable?

Hey Brandon, Im assuming you've confirmed with Canva and can you share the link to the TOS, that we can just Edit the template to later sell as you show? This would be great, really speeds up the process. Thanks for the content you are changing lives man.
The caveat as he mentioned is you have to modify it... In the end, you're not selling the same template... you just used it to get your dimensions right... But I have a successful shop and I have done this... as I said I don't actually use the template... I look at it as a reference point for where to put stuff. I mean these types of things really have a set type of structure or layout so you're just using it for that... you can even take it a step further and do slight alterations to the initial model.

For those selling digital printables on Etsy - do you have any customers whose printer does not support borderless printing; and, as a result cannot print to the edge? Has this ever been an issue for you?
I don't sell printables but I've bought some and that legit has nothing to do with you but the consumer's printer. Most printers support borderless print by default so anyone complaining about this is just so techo novice. Just include in the description "Best suited for printers that support borderless printing."
Nope, you only need to do that once, you’ll share the same link to all your buyers. They will have to make a copy of your master template in order to make edits

False, you no longer need Canva Pro to create and share template links.
I use canva
You don't need pro to do this. It's just under share>more>template.
Doesn’t your customer need Canva pro though if You use pro Things

You should publish a book. The pdf is one way of doing it, but I think a published book would sell.
