Sad that this never made it into production. Saturn really was innovative, and to be honest is now modern day Buick.

men, it was the most cheap and weakest brand of all GM group, that's why it dies.

Also the last Saturn Vue model wasn't innovation from Saturn because this one is from Opel, in other words, an European car which was sold by Opel for Europe (original), Chevrolet for the rest of the world, and Saturn (USA only in two years) And this was the only modern european SUV that could continue be sold now by Chevrolet years later of the Saturn closure. The Saturn Astra is another Opel with same name, but this one couldn't continue in the market, it wasn't that successful like the Opel Antara (Vue). With this said, you will realize that through Saturn, GM tried to introduce some Opel models to the American market, and this because the company was the weakest and cheapest, or otherwise, they would have sold them under better level brands like Pontiac or Chevrolet.

Produce cars that the exterior body panels are made of plastic is an innovation? Oh yeah, you got it for sure, but for make them more disposable.

@@The86Channel. like I said, modern day Buick is rebadged Opels and Vauxhalls… Buick is what Saturn was at the end. If anything it was ahead of it’s time.
