As soon as you said you don’t see the need for hanging the unit on the wall i knew your closet/equipment room was going to be a complete disaster. Did not disappoint.
THANK YOU! I had cameras, eero and desktop...along with other garbage. This made it simple. 1. modem to eero base 2. eero to splitter 3.home security base to splitter. Took 10 seconds.
Hi, but I'm kind of confused, you just plugged it and connected everything? I thought it was needed to setup a couple of things related to ip addresses on a app or website.
Inflation hits HARD -- this was $10 two years ago!?!? It was $14 after a $5 coupon... that's 90% inflation (before the coupon) in just 2 years! Can you hook up 2 separate routers with this switch? I have one router in my most central location, and I need another at the far reaches of my property. At the moment, I run an ethernet from my central router to the distant one and it works fine. But when I attach the distant router to the switch, it no longer have internet. I'm hoping it's just a configuration issue, but I can't find much info relevant to my situation.
Dude I’m so. Confused. Please fuckn help me dude I can’t figure this out. Okay so my router only has 2 ports. They’re full up. And I bought this new computer that needs to be hard wired too but oh wait, no more ports. I bought this Ethernet splitter. But nothing is making sense. How is everything supposed to stay tethered to the internet if I unplug something and link It to the router
Unplug 1 of the Ethernet cables on your router. Connect this switch into that port on the router. Then plug every device into the switch. Think of it like an electricity extension cord, you plug it into a socket and it gives you multiple more sockets. Same thing.
LOL.. telling someone to "get out more often" for something that has a use for people who stay in a lot due to nerdness... Reconsider your words before throwing them around.
You never explained how it does works. It would be easier if you just make a zoom of the original picture with the box... And not showing your f.. Mess.

Accurate math and accurate assessment of inflation!
Did anyone noticed the power brick connected into two ports of the power supply...
Can this be used with boosters
Hi man just want to know, is it possible to plug another router from the splitter?
Well in case that router work in repeater mode
soooo did you clean it up........ i'm invested now?
Still waiting. Hope he cleaned it up.
8 months later lol
@@Dillinger86 ok now i wanna see it cleaned up too.
Can I connect this to the TP-link wifi extender and would it work well?
Yes, i have mine plugged into there as well
it is my understanding that a splitter and a switch are not the same thing. you refered to it as a splitter when it is a switch.

Serious dude! You need to get out more often. These have been around for decades. Managed and unmanaged.
