I have completely changed my attitude to makeup since watching your chanel. Just turned 70, the damage is done, and no amount of 400 euro pots of cream (I'm in France) will make me look 40. I just want to say l have really struggled with getting older believe it or not l still remember thinking l am so old at 21, now l am 55. But your channel is really starting to make me feel better about myself and my age. Your tips and knowledge are amazing. I have gone from not walking out my front door without wearing makeup to only wearing it when l go to a party for the last 10 years. However now l struggle because it hasn't been looking good on my face with the lines and other signs of aging. But your tips and tricks are helping with that. Also, your acceptance and embracing of your age has really started to make me feel better about myself so thank you. It is a work in progress but l am getting there. NYX makes a great alternative… Pore Filler targeted stick is phenomenal under your eyes… fills in fine lines before concealer… a dream, and a bargain under 10 bucks.

This video reminds me of my personal hack... I use Monistat ANTI CHAFING GEL and I mix it with my foundation. (Or I apply it just before my foundation.) For me, it's a great "skin primer" product without the big price tag! I'm 66 and I love watching your videos

Adjusting to the fact that you're older, which everybody does get older, has a wonderful realistic outlook on makeup..... And being okay not having a full face of makeup on when you're going out of the house at times.... I'm going to do both of these concealer hacks! ..... Thanks Nikol, for showing us this product. I'm going to try this MAC Prep & Prime Fix Rose, and I hope it helps. I do have this problem of my concealer creating lines under my eyes throughout the day. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works.
I am 45 and as I am getting older I am getting smarter with my makeup choice. Nowadays I only use makeup with skincare benefits which actually help to keep my under eyes moist while providing extremely high coverage. May I suggest my holy grail IT cosmetics bye bye undereyes concealer? Yes a bit pricey but a tube last almost a year. Yup that's how concentrated it is, you only need a tinny tiny amount to cover all your life's problems 🤣🤣.
I've seen this hack before but they put the setting spray on before the concealer, do you think it matters thank you you're great

Max had a great mattifying /pore stick primer and it’s a little more expensive but it’s amazing and you get more product. I might give it a try under my eyes next time!

Do you have to use powder? I really don't like powder. Powder seems to enhance the wrinkles.

I'm 78 and you inspired me to wear makeup again (only when I'm going somewhere). I tossed all my old (& I do mean old!) makeup and bought all new Elf products. I'm on tight budget so felt this was the best "cheap" products. I've had great results, except for that under eye crease. So can't wait to try this on Sat.. My last need is mascara that doesn't flake but does lengthen (my lashes are stubby), and is budget friendly. Your videos are magical. Thanks so much.

Nikol, I’m 71, just had my cataracts removed. First time since 2nd grade I don’t need glasses! Now I see many fine lines on my cheeks and forehead. It’s quite a shock. Nikol, such great tips for dealing with creasing concealer. I always learn something new from you. I have long used contact lens solution to keep gel liner in place. I just gently pat some on top of the liner with a little brush. Honestly, one drop does it. Not that I’m a big fan of gel liner. This trick works on concealer too. No rubbing, no brushing, only patting. I use a couple more drops to clean my brush and it’s ready for the next day.
OMG, I've seen this hack with a sponge but the finger would be so much easier!! Do you put your foundation over that??
I found out about the Wet and Wild concealer from you and just love it! For me, powder alone is enough to set it, but I’m in a desert setting (New Mexico) so that could be the reason. Love your videos and how you mix products high/low. Thanks! 🎉

I saw Risa Does Makeup do this this past summer. She saw a Tic Tok of Kendra Ahras (sp?) doing this and thought it worth sharing!! I use it all the time now!!
My only issue with my under eye concealer is that I'm very pale and have large dark circles (always have) under my eyes. I find that no matter what concealer, mascara or powder I use, I get a little transfer from my mascara on my upper lashes to the very center of the little crease under the middle part of my eyes. Any tips?

What setting powders do not accentuate the fine lines and dryness under the eyes? I love the idea of the setting spray on the back of your hand and padding it under your eye but the minute I put the powder on I look 100 years older!😂

I have been using setting spray on my brush and dabbing it under my eyes after applying concealer and it seems to work for me that way as well. But, I will try this hack and see if it works better. I love your makeup today. So pretty.
I enjoy your videos. You are down to earth and very relatable to all women. You are beautiful. It is interesting to learn about new products and techniques from someone who isn't in their 20's with virtually no problem areas. Plus, learning more about hair products for mature is an added bonus. I am much older than you and recently noticed how much dryer my skin keeps getting as I age. As a mature woman, the needs for makeup and hair products differ from that of younger women. Not many channels along these lines to help us. Thank you for all you do to help mature women be informed about good reasonably priced products to help us look our best as we age!!

Hi Nikol. I have tried applying setting spray over my concealer but regardless of how small of an amount I tap in gently with my finger, it always lifts my concealer off. Should I wait until the concealer is completely dry before using the setting spray?
