What a fantastic idea, a very haunting sound but in a nice way. Though it’d probably get annoying very quickly listening to it everyday... The lights were a great touch too. Nice to see a bit of clever design in unexpected places!!
That's very cool, i have to see that one day. Living in Birmingham i am as far away from the sea as you can get in Blighty, so just seeing the sea in real life is rare. With added tunes even more remarkable.
It really depends about the pressure of waves and how strong they are. If the sea is calm it's gonna be quiet. You were pretty lucky to get to hear them that loud. :0 I also saw a comment where you tried covering one of the holes which gave me a good chuckle. I'm glad you visited Zadar. Hopefully you visit us some time again! :3
Wish they would tune that thing. Same racket as when I was there. If your that way again, get across to the island of Uglan and.Preko village for lunch. My mate keeps his boat there in the marina... luvly jubbly.
It's all very nice but imagine living close to it. I get driven mad by my neighbours wind chimes (Well, I did until I bought my air rifle with its scope) imagine this day and night.
The architect should have created an organ with only notes in scale (minor, major or whatever it is ...). In this way the sea would have produced real music, which could have inspired many artists.
I live in croatia i can tell you so in those staris there are litel metal bars and holes so when the sea water comse in it bounces into the metal bars so wjen they bounce the sound gets launched through the holes.... Understand? Good greetings from croatia
Handel's Water Music? Something by Wet Wet Wet? 🤔 It actually sounds like some oversexed whales getting it on (not that I'd know...) But wow, what an unusual thing. And those lights too. They're not things you'd want to encounter when sozzled though, are they... I must visit one day. Thanks AMC

Yeah i couldn't imagine living close to it! Would get proper annoying!
Zaljubljena u predivni Zadar❤
Beautiful place, beautiful country, hope I'll visit Zadar again 🥂
Agreed.
Perfect to fall asleep to. Ocean sounds + Sea organ = 😴
Not sure i could fall asleep to it, but i guess maybe you get used to it!?

Probably good not to live any where near this though! Imagine the racket every Sunday morning! !

Cheers Pocky. Good to know that we saw it at it's 'best! I'm sure I'll be back someday!
@@AndyManCam 🥂 Definitely! Stay like that, man. I hope to travel once more. Stay safe and hopefully we see you again!
You too mate.
It was brilliant to see and hear.
That was quite interesting! I’ve never seen something like that!
Me neither! That's why i thought better to show a video than try and explain!
How would it sound if storm surge happens or the bigger threat of waves?
Nice idea, weird sound though so glad I'm not a neighbour.
Yep! That would get PROPER annoying!!
I would have had a headache if I lived next to it.
Somebody better get that Icecream van outta there before the driver drowns... ¬_¬
Hahaha! Trust you! He's dead already. This is a memorial.
I wasn't keen on the tune they were playing. Do they accept musical requests from the audience?
I think they do, but the organ player was 20m underwater. To make requests was a bit 'involved'
Wish they would tune that thing. Same racket as when I was there. If your that way again, get across to the island of Uglan and.Preko village for lunch. My mate keeps his boat there in the marina... luvly jubbly.
Haha! Yeah, same tuneless organist!
Is it weird that the sound feels familiar?
That is pretty weird. Do you have breathing problems when you sleep?!
Reminds me of the old metal swings at my elementary school. As you would swing, the metal poles made this sound!
Wow !!!
Sounds like something used by Clams Casino in Peeps 4 gold chains?
If you say so! 😂 👍🏻
It's all very nice but imagine living close to it. I get driven mad by my neighbours wind chimes (Well, I did until I bought my air rifle with its scope) imagine this day and night.
It would give you nightmares at night, and a headache by day. lol
You're probably right! Cool, but only from a distance!
Totally agree! Maybe local residents get an earplug grant?
It's not audible , a few pass away and you could barely hear it
Belive me i live in Zadar its so beautiful
Who designed this and when
Thankfully somebody recorded it in 4k.
You mean me right? I can’t remember if I did or not!! 😂
@@AndyManCam Yeah. I meant you. xd
Haha! Phew!! Thanks Merlin!
wow, that is really cool. Bet it was awesome watching the sun go down with that smushing your earlobes :-) Were the lights wave powered too?
It was incredible! And our timing was completely accidental!! Not sure about the lights. Maybe.
Zvuči bolje od pola domaćih bendova. :)
Totally agree.
Beautiful! Tardy I am, at viewing AMC video work, will resume asap!
Cheers William. Chop chop! 😉
Sensational
Very cool. It would be good if tourists could change the key or something..... ;-) 🏍
Haha! I tried covering some holes like a massive flute. But it made no difference! 😂
Wondering if the sound bothers the sea life
I can’t imagine they care that much!
Pretty cool dude.
Cheers mate. Awesome sight.
I love that, but it might drive me mad if I lived on top of it.
You and be both mate!
Are you stupid or what, it's not even that loud
mihael kes10 Did you write that book, “How to win friends and influence people”, you certainly have a way with words!
Goddamn, that place is lovely. The sea organ is like wind chimes, only with sea. I want one on my balcony.
I know right! The timing and weather really rather added to the effect too! I think your neighbours would love you for your musical balcony! 😂
It would combine perfectly with their loud chatting about football :DDD
❤ неймовірно

I think they were trying to create something a bit more organic and random. Everything in tune would have just been a bit contrived and unnatural.
I think this is art in its own right and if the artist intended it this way than we should not look for it to be different.
I think it’s sounds like something from another planet the way they did it. Almost like the sounds Jaba The Hut’s band makes when 3po and R2 come in
Scales and tonality??? Be a little openminded...
That's so weird, I wonder how it was constructed...
No clue, but i can't imagine it was easy or fast!

@@karamtete thank you, science skeletor

Gde je ovo? Vidim nesto,, morske orgulje" 🤣🤣🤣
'Zadar' at the beginning was the biggest clue.
All the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order !!!!
Ahhhh, showing our age there mate!
Lol i don't recognize the tune 😅
Whaaaaat! I’m pretty sure it’s ‚Numa Numa‘
Ako tako svira dan i noc pa mještani će da izlude!
Such a creepy sound.
👍👍🇨🇦
“Gimme Shelter”?
Gimme earplugs!

Haha! Boom boom! I thought more like a fight in a Whale bar.
Imagine hearing this irritating noise all day all night... it will take a toll on a person's mental health...
I can imagine it would either drive you insane, or you'd get used to it! A risky move when you decide to live there!
Medo. Parece filme d terror.
Pardon, it nerves :-(
U nerv stupid bitch
Last of us music lol
👍🏻
what a torture
Brahms, it is not! :D
