It’s still good to see them reprise the roles. And Jim looks so much like his brother John that he almost looks like his clone.
I still have zero understanding how Blues Brothers 2000 was made without Jim Belushi. Planned for him to be in it, they played the SB to promote it and then scheduling conflicts and they move ahead without him. Jim prolly rolled over in his grave. No disrespect to Goodman though, hes amazing.

Too bad Blues Brothers 2000 never got the proper credit it deserves,it may not have been the sequel we wanted but it was better than nothing,it was still a good movie with the humor of the original. Similar to the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot,to me it was good and better than nothing but not the movie we wanted. At least we did at that time get a third movie and as for Blues Brothers 2000 sure no Jake Blues but no John Belushi no Jake Blues.
I think it’s just the band jamming on a random blues riff. I don’t think it’s an actual song. I could be wrong though. I just see a lot of bands just improvise a riff at the end of a set, not play an actual song.

Robert wiesler it's quite possible he had contract commitments he couldn't get out of...it was a shame though...movie wasn't that bad either...hard to believe most of the performers in bb # 1 and # 2 are gone now...especially the 1rst one...my favorite scene is where Jake tells the penguin she's up shit creek and she's like I beg your pardon what did you say and without missing a beat jake ŕeiterates the entire scene and ends with and I said I ģuess you're really up shit creek....all hell breaks loose...seen the movie dozens of times I still laugh like heĺl...
If producers and directors could bring themselves to refrain from shoving politics down our throats I'd sure love to see them do another blues brothers movie if Dan's up for it. I actually loved blues brothers 2000, but never understood why they went with John Goodman and some kid and not John's brother jim.
