These look great. When I saw the black one my first thought was the same as your comment. It's a swat van. The idea of offering a weathered crawler is for lazy people like myself that don't want to spend the time weathering it. Thanks for sharing these.

You can put the shocks in the highest setting and 1" brass wheels w/56mm tyres fit...completely transforms it! Have fun!
@@TomleyRC Unfortunately had to cancel the order. As they asked for additional shipping costs to my location, instead of 35$ +10$ more (part of their answer "due to restrictions in our logistics channels, we can currently only ship through a freight forwarder".) Im from eastern Europe.
They really were so much fun. The S.W.A.T idea is a great idea. The cabs are a pain to get off but I managed to print a driver for mine.

Yeah, I got the cab off... removed what I thought were all the screws for the interior, and it just would not move. I'm cutting a window out next time haha
@@TomleyRCthose damn hidden screws lol. I lowered my cab by about 10mm to lower the COG. 😂
The cool thing about hand weathering from them is each one will be slightly different which is great.

The good thing about these are they drive really well, and look just as good on the shelf!
Do I need it? No.. do I want it? Yes!!! Having bigger weight makes the suspension look so cool while driving ❤
I have an FCX24 Power Wagon and don't really drive it much. But when I do, it reminds me how much fun they are.
They are awesome trucks and the Unimog is definitely my favourite FCX24. Without the camper bed and some brass on the front they can rock crawl really well.

@@TomleyRC Yeah the pictures look more vibrant and clear than the previous ones, however your own creativity contributed as much as the new gear imo. The axle cam looks cool, for example.

I've been considering crawlers for a wee while now, you may have just provided the answer and impetus to do so. These look fantastic, run well, and seem so much fun. The problem with these, which one to get as they have such a great looking range, "something for everyone" Tomley, lot's for anyone.

just got the campervan 2 weeks ago, it is really nice and has a decent quality. The FMS hexhardware is no the best I rounded at least 2 screws heads while changing the suspension. But for the price these 24th scale vehicles are available at I can live with it :-)
Yes, they can be a little soft. But FMS definitely do some of the best mini crawlers out there

FairRc is pretty awesome with the mods. I bought a modded blazer last year for a gift and the mod job was so good, it looked factory. They are top notch with after support as well with parts too.

OMG i'm on a RC buying budget freeze, but the rusted red K10 is tempting me so badly!! What a great idea to sell these, as my artistic skills to produce a look to this quality are far and away from what is required. I always thought someone should start craft classes in how to produce the rusted out body look and other body mods could be a winner?!

I love the Unimogs and my Tamiya kit one is waiting till I retire to start building. . . But! And it’s a big ol’ but, FMS do a Mk2 Landy!!!!! Aargghh! Hehe, twice the price of the JPL Jimny, but I HAVE TO BUY ONE! I would say arg again but it would be too silly. Great vid once again Phil. That suspension seems to ride so nicely! Scalely!😅

I got the door stickers made (just used the MOR Logo from their website).. and my mate made the vents with a 3D printer

The FMS Unimogs are licensed (with oil shocks, portals, etc.), don't know if that carries on to a modded one but I would assume so. The original FMS "Mogrich" was not licensed.
Yes they are. But I think Fair RC can’t licence them when they mod them
Licensing is a funny thing. Fair would also have to pay a portion of their sales to the owners of the trademarks if they wanted to sell them as such. The way they do it currently saves everyone a bit of money.

Fms is terrible quality. If you have kids that are hard on rcs these break in about six months. I learned my lesson. No warrenty, and no support.

Yeah not for kids ..six months is top quality..I've broken most of mine the same day 😂..then you you fix/upgrade them accordingly. That's part of the hobby 👍

Kids break everything….usually it’s from holding the throttle pinned while the car or truck is stuck on something or bound up
@TomleyRC our arrma mojave groms have been solid. Even the tamiya lunch box has been fine other than servo horns. Wpl breaks also but atleast they are half the price of fms. Rant over lol.
