It is amazing Therion tell about ayahuasca. As brazilian fan since 1998 Therion show the world that they are not a ordinary band but a band who teach about so many religion and culture all over the world letting their stories alive forever. I am proud to be a Theion fan.

I am a Therion fan for last 20 years. For fun fact .. I am able to fully enjoy a Therion album in 2-3 years after it was released :) Until now I enjoyed all the notes from all Therion albums :) I just finished to fully understand and enjoy Leviathan I. There is no definitive 'best' when it comes to Therion's music; it's all about how much you resonate with a particular album. I fell in love with Vovin, then Secrets of the Runes, followed by Lemuria, Beloved Antichrist, Sitra Ahra, and so on. Each album represents different stages of my life and emotional experiences. @@edroseptic9442

A great Therion song! 🔥 For those who don't know, ayahuasca is a mixture of jungle plants native to the indigenous peoples of South America. It is usually used medicinally and spiritually to get rid of the bad in the being.

The two plants are Ayahuasca and Cochruna. The first, is an inhibitor of a natural reaction of the immune system to supress the effect of the alkaloid from Cochruna, seen by the body as a poison.

Core fan since Vovin... that album was the answer to my atheist prayers for about decade prior that masterpiece. Therion's "Vovin" and Apocalyptica's "Four cellos play Metallica".. bought'em both the very same day and blew my mind because already way years before I realized how Heavy Metal was the new Classica Music and I desperately hoped to see classical instruments and music played with both classical and modern instruments. Christofer Johnsson has been the one who answered my call or prayers or whatever you wanna call my evocation for such a new era in Music, something bands like Deep Purple before crossed just once but never went fully into that direction. Christofer, whom I consider since the very first time listening Vovin a Classical Composer and Genius in all respects, was the one who got the guts to give that a chance and here we are.
I missed Therion since the previous Leviathan, I really needed a new masterpiece from Christofer and here it is and here we are once again. Therion will always be part of my life in music and hopefully will always be even when in music I'll rest.

Wow... It was really spiritual musical journey. The song is very unusual by all measures. Yes, it is less catchy than the previous ones, but it shouldn't be. Ayahuasca is pure art, music for the soul and mind. I like very much psychedelic parts. Also very interesting topic. Video is superbl. Amazed, that you shot it in Amazon with real shaman. My respect. Thomas did a great job on this one, very varied vocal performance. Taida's singing is splendid as always. But I'm a bit confused, is it really Piotr Wawrzeniuk singing in the second part of the song? The male voice is so familiar and very similar to Piotr. Anyway great melodies and great song overall. My respect goes to Mr. Johnsson for choosing this one as a single, it is brave and sincere decision. Thank You for that. Leviathan III is a beast!🔥 Pre-ordered, all that's left to wait another month.
