Yes the singer is Rosalia Sairem a mezzo soprano and she also sing in the other two songs in the album,El primer sol and the leaf on the oak of far.

The band has had pretty much the same line up since 2008. The use of additional singers for more vocal variation is something the band has done all the time since 1995.

Agreed the beginning of the music video was great and then it got kinda corny.
@@shanesmith1786 English isn't my first language, so I may be wrong, but "corny" is not the word I would use . It won't cost me any sleep, but I would have preferred some parts of the video left out. Already without such stuff too many sick people on this globe ... and my job requires that I go to some really sick places.
I don't know ... Perhaps I've seen too many really shitty videos and have lowered my standard but I kinda have the feeling you are going a bit harsh on them here.
I never heard of Algol before this so I had to Google it up. Most items I find are about a star, in the Perseus constellation, named after the head of Medusa. The Eye of Algol is, hence, the very one that turns people into stone.
The video is definitely about the slaying of Medusa. It ends up with a bright star in a constellation. For a quick search perspective, I would say it stands. Could make a point about the random fights of unrelated people, the cringe faces of the lead signer, etc but overall we also should also appreciate the quality of the pictures, and general realization. I especially appreciate the golden statues.
All in all, it may very well because videos are very unlikely to be good, but I would say it's a nice one :) At least, definitely not the worst I've seen he he.
