Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way) don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. First of all, if you have any questions regarding Islam and yourself, just open the Quran randomly, and you will find the answer in front of you, like a miracle and a sign from God.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.” (2:136 / Translated by Community) Salam (Peace) --------------

Lyrics Led to the river midsummer, I wave A "V" of black swans on, with hope, to the grave And through red September, with skies fire-paved I begged you appear like a thorn for the holy ones Cold was my soul and untold was the pain I faced when you left me a rose in the rain So I swore to the razor that never enchained Would your dark nails of faith be pushed through my veins again Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon come above unto me? For once upon a time, from the binds of your lowliness I could always find the right slot for your sacred key Six feet deep is the incision In my heart, that barless prison Discolors all with tunnel vision (Sunsetter) Nymphetamine Sick and weak from my condition This lust, this vampiric addiction To her alone in full submission (None better) Nymphetamine Nymphetamine, nymphetamine Nymphetamine girl Nymphetamine, nymphetamine My nymphetamine girl Wracked with your charm, I'm circled like prey Back in the forest where whispers persuade More sugar trails, more white lady laid Than pillars of salt Fall to my arms, hold their mesmeric sway And dance out to the moon as we did in those golden days Christening stars, I remember the way We were needle and spoon, mislaid in the burning hay Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness And would you ever soon come above unto me? Cradle or Filth has the most beautiful lyrics of any band I have ever listened to. It doesn't hurt that Dani has an English degree (like me!) The words he uses brings the song to life, and you can close your eyes and visualize every word he sings! Who knew metal could be so illustrative, so romantic!!
I dunno. I mean, I love Cruelty & the Beast to listen to, but I tried reading the lyrics and had to give up as they're just too daft. But, I've always liked music more than lyrics anyway so prefer the overall sound, and it's good that the lyrics work for those who like them more than I do.
+faith crane Your comment cracked me up so much that I started coughing before I could even laugh! (I'm currently sick with whatever virus is going around.)
VarietyMusicLover Oh goody I am not old yet then, if only my body agreed with you🙂. Now if only I could remember being 36..... 🙂 (for those that aren't able to see emojis I ended with :-) )
I remember my father liked this song. I was listening to it in my bedroom, he passed by and stopped to listen together. It was 16 or 17 years ago. Nowadays, everytime I listen to this song, I remember him. He died in 2011. RIP.
I've been listening ever since iw was little, my mom listens to this kind of music and I love it. Its so beautiful, this and mother of abomination will always have a place in my heart
There is so much right with this song. Listening for the 17 years it has been available. This was recommended by a student fairly early in my ELA teaching career. Now he is in is 30's, and I'm a few years from retirement. Regardless, this song is gloriously layered vocally and sonically. It holds up and definitely reflects the sublime.
The blonde woman really balances out the aggressive vocals by the guy. Filmography is excellent. Great main riff. Probably my fav cradle of filth song so far.
My dad showed this to me for the first time when I was around 7 in 2008 and it was one of the coolest things I'd ever heard/seen at that point in my life. It cemented my love for gothic music and the style forever. I'm 23 now and am still dressed alternative and going strong haha
I met Dani filth when I was 12 and I was so starstruck that I literally could not say a word. I've heard he's a huge diva but surprisingly has remained unproblematic and has remained a metal icon. Folks who were haters in the past... man I wish I hadn't listened to them!!!! I will always look so fondly on my metal days. Black metal, extreme metal, thrash metal, symphonic black metal.... who cares? This song almost won a Grammy. ICONIC!!!!!!! FUCKING GOLD!!!!
I worked with the band a few years ago when they played the venue I used to work at. Very easy people to work with. They were one of the easiest bands I worked with. Any musician you meet can have their off days, but usually chances are if you ever see them, just say hi and be polite. Most musicians genuinely appreciate meeting fans.
I can forever remember myself as 14 years old, I had just found this song, smoking tobaccos in secret from my parents at a nearby kindergarten yard in the late autumn evening rain, listening to this masterpiece over and over again. Such heartwarming memory.
I will never get tired of this song- the lyrics and sound are just amazing. And the fact my mom loved it, and had me and my sis play it at her funeral, makes it all the more special. ♡
Old music is so depressing because it always reminds you of a good time in your life. But what I quickly learnt in life is that it's okay to be sad about that good feeling because life isn't all about that one good feeling, it's about making so many more for when your time comes you can reflect on a whole movie of good memories and not just one you tried to hold onto forever. This is just my 4am deep thoughts
You don't like the screaming because you're not used to it, if you give it a chance and listen to a song a couple of times, you'll get used to the screaming and you'll love it. I used to hate screaming like you, but now it's one of my favorite genres
***** Totally right. For the longest time, Phil Anselmo was the heaviest I cared for. Then I had a room mate who constantly played hardcore and death metal. I have always liked some classical music, so the music appealed to me right away, but "If only the singer would shut the fuck up". Before long, Darkest Hour, Something Must Die, and Black Dahlia murder were some of my favorites, vocals and all, and over a decade later, still are. This was an easy transgression as I was already really into thrash. Davey's vocals still haven't grown on me over the years, but I still listen to them. To "TimedRevolver". If you like this but don't like the vocals much, you may want to check out Nightwish.
James Windolf I actually do like Nightwish. As for the vocals, I don't mind the screaming if the song has some form of melody. Slipknot would be a good example, i think. Corey does a lot of screaming, but he adds in melody too.
TimedRevolver If you have not heard or listen to them: Five finger death punch do the same, but in some songs it's just screaming while others it's both melody and scream or just meldoy.
OfficalRavoos I like Five Finger Death Punch. Far Frome Home and Undone are awesome, as is Over and Under It, which is the perfect example of what I like; the mix of screaming with a melodic chorus.
Dark, beautiful, sad, poetic, emotional song. Also an amazing collab. You don't really find music like this anymore. It's really sad that most people in the comments are around my age, there's no doubt this music along with the other bands of my childhood doesn't really reach many kids today. I remember back in school it was more popular to be into rock and metal, and join bands and all that. People seem to channel their energy and emotion much differently.
Nightwish, Trivium, Machine Head, BFMV, Bleeding Through, KSE, Atreyu, 36 Crazyfists. The albums of that era 02-08 were poetic, powerful and mostly genuine works of art. Not packaged and sold products by a record company
@@foxxie1702 i was lucky enough to see 3 of my fav bands in one night. BFMV headlined, with Lacuna Coil And Bleeding Through as support. Alexandra Palace, London, UK 15/11/08. That night will forever be one of the greatest days of my life
well hey im 15 and I am forever proud to consider my self a metalhead. My dad got me into metal when I was about 8 years old. Yea a lot of teens nowadays like rap and pop but there still hope every know and then i find a few metal heads. Theres still hope stay metal🤘
Dani is not a human. He is a demon, no human can hit those notes...... wait who? King Diamond?! Well yeah he's a demon too. And who else now? Ok ok they're all bloody fucking demons, ok? Sleep tight lol
This song gives me so much nostalgia. I've always loved gothic style and culture. I never had an opportunity to immerse myself in it the way I wanted, for one reason or another. I'm nearing 30 now, but I still like to window shop online for gothic furniture, clothes, etc. I know it's mindset rather than a fashion statement, but it's just something that has always interested me. Does anyone else relate?
Definitely me. I've had all sorts of phases, bit this was probably my most elegant as a teen and it's stuck with me through adulthood. Be powerful, be a gentleman and wear lots of black.
I will forever make sure cradle is in my all time top 5 metal bands. They are so one of a kind. Personally its Dusk and Cruelty, but they make so much more good stuff.
When I was a troubled teenager I used to fall asleep to this song on repeat, now I’m a troubled 30yr old and I still fall sound asleep. Magic.
Saaame!

Pretty terrible huh? Feels like a horrible regression in life

Lyrics
Led to the river midsummer, I wave
A "V" of black swans on, with hope, to the grave
And through red September, with skies fire-paved
I begged you appear like a thorn for the holy ones
Cold was my soul and untold was the pain
I faced when you left me a rose in the rain
So I swore to the razor that never enchained
Would your dark nails of faith be pushed through my veins again
Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon come above unto me?
For once upon a time, from the binds of your lowliness
I could always find the right slot for your sacred key
Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discolors all with tunnel vision
(Sunsetter) Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition
This lust, this vampiric addiction
To her alone in full submission
(None better) Nymphetamine
Nymphetamine, nymphetamine
Nymphetamine girl
Nymphetamine, nymphetamine
My nymphetamine girl
Wracked with your charm, I'm circled like prey
Back in the forest where whispers persuade
More sugar trails, more white lady laid
Than pillars of salt
Fall to my arms, hold their mesmeric sway
And dance out to the moon as we did in those golden days
Christening stars, I remember the way
We were needle and spoon, mislaid in the burning hay
Bared on your tomb, I'm a prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon come above unto me?
For once upon a time, from the bind of your holiness
I could always find the right slot for your sacred key
Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discolors all with tunnel vision
(Sunsetter) Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition
This lust, this vampiric addiction
To her alone in full submission

I love cradle!!!

Nymphetamine is Cradle of filth's Masterpiece
Her ghost in the fog also is a masterpiece
I normally don't like songs where the vocals are screamed like this, but for some reason this song is in my head.
Reminds me of high school, when I graduated 2010, will always come back to my roots 🩵
As well..brings back memories
Stone cold classic!
Always a favourite!!

My parents just showed me this during the weekend and I fell in love with the song and now I want it to be my permanent bedtime song.
