It all went wrong under Hughes where we almost got too arrogant and thought we were better than we were at the time, trying too hard to push on ultimately cost us our place in the premier league and has led us here.

Agreed Adam, succession of average British managers with nothing to prove has helped.

Wakey wakey...Luton fan here.. Nathan Jones is a good manager..BIG CLUE he got us from League 2 to the play offs in the Championship... the problem is the TEAM... ego’s and cohesion...watch what he does with Charlton, the problem is the squad, same with Southampton....🧡🧡🎩🎩

Welsh Leeds fan here who followed Mark Hughes' career with interest. Always thought your poor recruitment in 16/17 and 17/18 really cost you. In retrospect you should have got rid of Hughes at the end of 16/17. Also thought Rowett was a strange appointment - you'd just come down, needed to go straight back up, and appointed a guy who's achieved nothing in football? And as for Nathan Jones...feel for ya lads.

It started with Hughes who simply lost the plot. The 0.3 home defeat by Arsenal last match of that particular season is where it started under Hughes whose arrogance and dysfunctial decison making should've secured him being fired off right there. Instead we next saw Hughes in the Coates family box that Sumner at Ascot That's it. Right there.

When peter coates decided to put his son in charge.
    All downhill from there.
The problem with john is, he likes to think he,s billy big bollocks.
Im john coats and im rich, give me your manager.
If we had the infrastructure like other clubs, john would feel less important.

It`s an amazing catalogue of failure going back to the end of the Premier league days. Most people would find it hard to be so useless and make so many mistakes, one after anothger.Liam, imo,Cundle is made to look ineffective because those players around him are not used to the way he plays---passes it quickly, moves for a forward pass which doesn`t come. So,there`s no use playing him.Pulis? That`d be the end for me.Sat?As Liam says lose the first goal and it`s game over.I wouldn`t be surprised to see us lose heavily.M`boro, just thge type of team we shouldn`t be playing.I really hope I`m completely wrong.

Surely if loses this, he's gone though, I know you dont want Pulis back but you wouldn't go down with him in charge for 10 games.

Mark Hughes is a terrible, terrible manager. He only looked okay with the team Pulis had already built but he didn't have the ability to build his own team. He caused so many problems with mismanaging QPR in the Premiership that we have never really recovered financially and football wise.

Rubbish. Rot started with Pulis when he couldn’t change anything, he took Stoke as far as he could. Hughes lifted Stoke until he downed tools when he lost Arnie, the rot started again but then Stoke haven’t improved since but have only become rotten. I’ll be amazed if they don’t get relegated which they deserve

Pulis should have stayed. A lot of people had superiority complex and thought we should have been a top 5 side. We should have gone for staying in the prem for a start, same as Everton, year after year and added quality gradually. We should have also gone for John Eustace, he was a quality player who knows what he is doing. John coates is clueless too.

@matthewdoyle3877 said it all along! I wasn't as delusional as some were. Takes a long time maintain consistency and build a good team. We did well but could have done better, nice to finish in the top 10 2 years running but soon went sour.
