Nice mate! Great video, always amazes me the people who don't read descriptions haha. Great camera work as always. Not a huge fan of the JJs compactors, I think I would've had to grow up with them to like them more but that Acco is pretty cool! I hadn't heard that Veolia had got this contract until I saw the comments. Cheers!
Cheers mate! I know, they usually answer most questions you have 😅 oh well. I think I have to agree with you there, back in the day when I would see them on RUclips I would always skip over the video because I really was not a fan of them. Nowadays I don't mind the look of them but they are a bit boring to watch and don't seem to have the best hopper design, tend to pack out pretty quickly. Certainly prefer the Acco as that still looks and sounds great and has some history behind it, but these new Volvos have nothing really going for them. I didn't know for a while after because the council never mentioned it anywhere on their website or facebook. Does make me think that some if not all of the Ivecos might start to disappear soon. Might be why Veolia needed a few new trucks quickly, JJs shouldve sold them an old Acco or two, not that thats something JJs does, they seem to keep their own equipment to themselves. Cheers for the comment mate!
