Wings in the dining room, tail feathers in the den. Gotta love it!

[Furiously looking to see if I can see myself in the background]
I've never been to a Zenith Homecoming before but it was everything that I thought it could be. Jim Allen had one of the cleanest builds there.

Great to see! Rotax is often sneered at but Rotax is really a good option.

That’s an outstanding instrument panel! Wish I had room for the second EFIS and Radio. When he said redundancy was important to him, he meant it!

Great interview and what a great aircraft. The 912iS engine really is far more economical than the 912ULS. My 912ULS at 5400rpm in my Zenith 650 is burning 5GPH compared to the 3.8GPH in the 912iS in the video.

Great tour of this awesome build. The upfront additional cost of a 912is is offset by the fuel savings if you fly it long enough. It would be great to know the aircraft's empty weight to know the actual useful load.

I am currently living in Columbia, MO. You would be surprised at how many people in Central MO don't know there is an aircraft manufacturer in Mexico, MO. I love to fly but my health and my wallet have put a stop to my dreams of flight. I guess I am relegated to RC flying. I am encouraged by the fact that some RC aircraft do have cameras in them and you can link it to a viewer and see from the cockpit of the plane you are flying.

That’s a very nicely equipped Zenith , nice job. Love going to Taco Tuesday fly out of Airport Manatee (48X) and it is one of my favorite flights.

Great prop choice....DUC is a fabulous prop.

Right tank as main makes sense, we do make more left turns than right ones. So fuel does flow from right tank at higher rate.

The purpose of that valve is to prevent cross over of fuel from one tank to another through the header tank if the airplane is resting in an inclined position.

Not for nothing, but I did the same thing to a bunch of aircraft, including trikes, but you forgot to install a T fitting at the end of the stock tube and then add your long tube.. all you need do is orient the tail of the tea straight up so the carb can vent normally but any liquids would go down your long tube down and out of the aircraft so the fuel that could potentially leak out of your carbs due to a bad float, would not land on your hot exhaust
