    Thank you very much as I was just trying to figure this out as I have had a lost shipment. Timely video. Thank you. Also, I had a few items shipped back to me at my request from Amazon and they all arrived in envelopes and totally damaged. So now I have to file a complaint for that as well.

    Nikki this information is the best. I've got 2 different shipments with this same problem. Unfortunately for me, they are giving me grief over invoices from products purchased via ebay through the adidas originals store.. They say Ebays order details and delivery is not enough to provide proof of purchase and ownership. It was an entire box of new adidas sneakers which they claim were not in the box. This seems to be a trend with missing items, when the product doesn't require labeling. Extremely frustrating. Thank you for all you do!!

    I have started taking a picture of the product with the receipt on my iPhone using the NOTE app. I take a close-up of the product price tag because there are actually numbers on there that match with the receipt. I haven't had to use it yet but I'm prepared. I use to not shop at Marshalls and TJMaxx because of that receipt issue, but they have been great stores lately for me....       Have you found this to be an effective way of keeping track of items that don’t have an exact description or UPC on the receipt? It’s an annoying extra step, but don’t know how to otherwise keep track of what receipt goes to what item at stores like TJMaxx. Thanks!

    Great information-I was wondering how to submit the receipts because I submitted a couple of receipts and they denied it so I would try to combine them like you did 👍
    Can you please make a video on how to ask for reimbursements when it’s Amazon’s fault an item was returned/not received(like received damaged, received late or not at all received…) That’s most of my returns…

    Thanks Nikki! SCK4 lost one of my boxes and I did something similar by adding the ASIN’s next to each item. I couldn’t figure out how to get the PowerPoint to flip to a portrait mode so that the receipts were correctly orientated and ended up sending in 3 receipts in 3 different uploads. I know the directions say to only submit one file, but they also ask you to correctly orient the receipts and I wasn’t able to do both 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Keeping my fingers crossed that they just refund me and don’t give me a bunch of issues! Thanks so much for this video!

    Thank you for the guidance on this! Very timely as Amazon FBA just lost an entire box (of course it was one of my largest shipments). Just followed all of your steps so fingers crossed I can get this reimbursed before it is a total loss!

    I have discrepancies but that dropbox doesnt show on my shipment. It says "Investigation completed - shipment contents counted and confirmed" and when I try to submit attachments in the form below it tells me to select an option under status... which isnt there -___-
    I also opened a case for this and it's been a week now and they havent even responded once to my case.
    It's getting quite frustrating.

    Hey Nikki I’m a amazon FBA seller too. I had a question once approved to sell a specific brand. Do you know if we can create our own listing selling that brand when we get approved? I make profit but It’s struggle with competition. I think it be better creating my own listing selling named brands once approved, and no competition. With no competition it should be easy $$$.

    Nikki your videos are always SO helpful! Do they always accept your receipts? I am selling RA/OA on the Canada marketplace and they wont approve my cases because they say I need an INVOICE not a receipt. Every time, its so frustrating! There is one warehouse that loses my items every shipment that gets sent there!! Would love to get your feedback on this! Thank you.

    OK, I'm new to all of this so bare with my question. What receipt do i send in? i took 50 items and boxed them myself and sent in. They only show 49 received. I'm not sure what i am suppose to show them as a receipt.

    How do you handle when sets are split up? I poly bag and use set stickers and still have beauty products separated. I can tell on shipment it says 8 received instead of 4 😩

    Hello, Nikki. Now Amazon updated. It doesn't have the Action required to research the missing units in content. So I don't know how to reconcile. anyway, my product is handmade and we made our own products. but amazon requires the purchase invoice. so we do at this point?

    This video is so timely! Amazon lost one of my boxes on my inbound shipment to them and I was wondering the best way to send in a claim! Do you know how long you have to make the claim? I keep hoping they will just find the box.

      I’m not sure but since they take months to even be up for reconciling you do have time. I try to go through and look every quarter

    I have a shipment that does not have an option for further investigation. I did submit a case either an invoice and they said they completed their investigation and there is no record of them receiving the items. What can I do? This was 17 of the same video game. Any advice is much appreciated!!

    this video was great! i will totally be using this method next time. how do you store your receipts? I am currently using the shoebox method and it is a real headache when I have to go back and sort through them - any good software recommendations?

      Lol I use a drawer but I have one of those accordion file folders I sort by month in there

      Thanks! For “inventory error” you can delete the listing and it will go stranded then you can relist it. For missing sku… I have had NO luck and gave up and asked for them to be sent back. Do you use inventory lab by chance?

    I don't have the option to select product under the "Status / Action Required" column in order to submit this request. do I perhaps have the new version that page?

      It should be the same. However there are instances where Amazon says they already looked or they won’t look and it’s not an option. Usually when it’s a small amount of items like one or two

    Hello! Does it work if UPS lost some boxes in the shipment and Amazon never received them? Tried to reach to UPS but they say that account holder should open the case - which in this case is Amazon . Thanks !

      I opened a ticket with UPS once, it’s a headache but doable. Once I did then suddenly it showed up in amazons warehouse. I’d first open the ticket with Amazon and see if they “find it”

      I do not, you’re correct it’s typically only private label or brand sellers. I don’t do it because I buy stuff that is already selling and doesn’t need help as well as you’re advertising the whole page not just your listing. So I could be paying for other sellers to get the sale

    So they reimburse one the price to which the items would have sold for rather than just the receipt/cogs ? (In my case UPS has lost the package, the label was provided by Amazon SPD shipment).

      Yes, they have a equation that is what it’s been selling for to decide what it would have sold for and that’s what you get

    Amazon lost my item that was competitively priced at $130 and reimbursed me $40. How do I appeal?

      You can resend or open a new ticket and ask for at least what you paid for it but they won’t ever give you what you could have sold it for. On average it’s slightly above what it costs you there’s a whole algorithm they use to reimburse you can search it in your Amazon account for their breakdown of the payment calculations they use.
