Great content, well presented. I've been at it a month (and I've go the tech logs to prove it!) A single sku bumper sticker and it's been enough wild goose chases and a million rabbit holes and always come up empty. Imna month I've seen them switch processes, requirements, webpages, layouts, content. I was watching one of Camerons videos, just 2 months old, and I couldn't get 3 minutes into it. The menus have changed, and the tab that he indicated to go to, showing the audience every step. And iit's all changed and of no use to mr.
You are obviously a smart guy with an entrepreneurial spirit. Your videos have solid production values and you are blessed with being good on camera!
It obviously has played well to your strengths to be a seller and communicator. The past month dancing with Amazon has been a nightmare. Maybe Im just not wired to jump through all the administrative hoops.
How long have you been at it , your relationship with Amazon, and is it changing as quickly as Ive experienced. Again, great job Crescent!Your a Pro!

Thank so much for another helpful video! I remember in a previous video you mentioned you typically recommend doing individually packed and I definitely can understand why with all the parameters around case packing. It seems like they now allow a combination of both case packed and individually packed in one shipping plan.... would this be your new recommendation when it applies?
You're welcome. Yes, why make it more complicated if you don't have to?
such a nice explanation, thank you so much , glad i came across your videos.

Hello, can you explain the process of Amazon partnered carrier. More specifically shipping service where we get two options of Pick up service and Use your own EOR. I noticed that Amazon shipping is cheaper
Hello. It's not that complicated. You can use Amazon's shipping partners that are in the Partnered Carrier program, this will usually be cheaper. Or you can arrange the shipping yourself or with your own freight forwarder.
Great video watched the whole thing

Thank you so much for your video!!! So informative. I have a question tho on the last part of your vid, the 2nd common mistake newbies make.. mixing up unit and box size & weight (vid stamp 22:48). I haven't encountered that window to enter the unit size and weight upon shipment plan creation. Can i find this information in the shipment plan i created? Looking forward to your response. Tia!!!
You're welcome, I'm glad you found it helpful. You can also enter the size/weight where you enter product listing details.
Hi thanks for this!
Some queries please:
1) if you are still at the manufacturing stage, but have set up a draft listing, can you still create a shipping plan that can be amended as needed later once other details are firmed up?
2) Is it ok to submit a draft listing but just make the go-live date to much later (my product will take at least a couple of months to be both manufactured and sea shipped) so that it shows up in manage inventory to then create a draft shipping plan? My listing isn't at all optimised, just wanted to create one to see if I come across any issues.
3) Finally, I just wanted to check product variations. This will be my initial launch product but plan to have variations of it later - maybe next year. However, when drafting the listing, should I still checkmark the variations option now (I won't have the details to add to the variation yet although I can allocate a UPC code if required as purchased 10)?
Thank you again
Hello, you’re welcome! 1) Yes 2) The listing won’t go live until you have inventory in stock 3) Yes, it’ll be easier if you start with a variation now
@@CrescentKao Brilliant, thanks so much!

Can you please make a detailed video on shipping a full container of 20 ft or 40 ft directly to Amazon for FBA? can they empty the container by them each box or I have to put them on the skids from the supplier.
Thank you for this video, it's so helpful! Struggling with understanding the timelines of all of this for a first product. So in order to get an amazon shipping address for the supplier, you need to have your product listed but in order to have your product listed, you need to have all of your professional photos ready to go. If you don't even have the product in hand since it's being produced overseas, how do you get around this catch 22?
You’re welcome! You don’t need to have the actual photos to create a listing, you can put temporary/fake ones up until you have the real ones. This goes over it: ruclips.net/video/qwd4bxnXizA/видео.html

Can you please explain UPS * Pick up cost is not included with the rate?*
What will be the pick up cost and does UPS pick up our products themselves or we need to schedule a shipping date on their website?
You need to schedule it. Cost depends on your location.
I didn't understand exactly, did you mean in the last part of the video that we should enter the size of one product or the carton filled with goods? What about the weight? The weight of the whole carton or just one product?
I don’t know what part you’re referring to. A timestamp would help.
Thank you Crescent, your videos have helped me ship to Amazon for the first time. But I have a question: I still have my status as “shipped” two weeks after updating shipment with tracking ID. I reached out to my freight forwarder and she said they don’t update like UPS. I’m shipping from China. Should I be worried?
You’re welcome! Correct, overseas tracking isn’t always live.
Thank you so much
Hello Crescent. Thank you so much for the work you do over here. I really hope you see this. Is there anyway I can get in touch with you. I follow your videos religiously and I’ve been able to create my first ever listing on Amazon. I followed this video to create my shipment plan but before I got to step 2 it says my “inventory storage limit has been exceeded. Please try again when storage becomes available” I’m having difficulty understanding why it wouldn’t let me progress. My total shipment is less than 30lb. It’s 50 units divided equally between 2 case packs. I’m so stuck and don’t understand how to progress. Is there any chance I made a fundamental mistake somewhere? Do you have any advice on how to deal with this error message that wouldn’t budge?
Hello. You're welcome, I'm glad you find value in the content. You can find all of my contact details in the video description or you can book a consultation on my website: www.crescentkao.com
Storage limits are calculated based on volume, not by units, this goes over it: ruclips.net/video/EjECu7A8lx4/видео.html
Or as I stated in the video, you might have an old shipping plan that is taking up space. Cancel or delete it to free up the space.
@@CrescentKao hello Crescent. Thank you for you response. I wanted to implement it before I get back to you. I had no active shipping plan that needed deleting to trigger “inventory storage limited exceeded” warning . It’s my first and only shipment.
I tried to start a fresh plan but when I am about to complete the first step it pops up with the warning, “ This product exceeds your current FBA capacity limit for Oversize storage”
This leaves me so confused because these are the exact and correct dimensions of my shipment so I don’t understand the warnings
I have only 2 boxes of 16x16x18 and 20lb each being sent with 25 units per box.
This certainly is not overweight.
Should I send them as individually packed and not case packed?
I watched your video fba capacity limit posted about a year ago but still have difficulty getting a solution to make progress.
Any of your wisdom you could shed on this issue please?
My first FBA - One question. I have a product with 5 variations should my supplier send in one box or separate into 5 boxes? I am stuck with this one. Thanks and thank You for all your info.

it only shows me the minimal shipment option, the other two are in gray an un-clickable. I do not understand why.
Not all the options are available depending on what and where you’re shipping from/to.
When it asks who preps in the packing details section, is that referring to the picking and packaging that amazon does in order to deliver to the seller?
No. It’s asking who’s doing the labeling or any other prep. I went over it in the video.

Sorry Kao: when I spoke with you on the phone you told me how to create the shipping labels, but now that I am doing it I found this issue:
the "more inputs" button I don't have it available as I create the shipping plan. I have 1000 units with 32 units each. One carton has 8 units. If I choose case packed for my stuff to be palletized, do you think I can create the shipping labels easier? Thank you very much.
Hello. Just to make things more clear, I assume what you mean is that you are selling a box that has 8 items inside it. This box is *1 unit*. So if you have a total of 1000 items with 8 items per box, then I assume you have 125 total units (125 x 8 = 1000). I'm not sure where the "32 units each" comes from in your message.
If that's correct, that's not a problem. This is the pallet guidelines: sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200978400
You also need to conform to the labeling guidelines for selling sets:
sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/200141500
Quick question: while creating the shipping labels I get a message that says: box weight does not meet the expected minimum: 39.55 pounds. Each of carton weights: 27 Lbs. should I just confirm and continue? I got 1000 units at 32 units per box.Thank you
I don’t know since I don’t know the details of your shipment. I went over this issue in the video and what to do.
Hi Crescent! Thank you for all the videos! So appreciate!! You mentioned it really doesn't matter which origin address to put in shipping plan...Can i put a post office's address in California as origin?

@@CrescentKao Thank you for your answer so if the items come to my home address so I do not need to create a shipping plan on my account on amazon FBA?
Amazon changed the way to create a shipment. I do not have casepacks I have individual items. I have been selling FBA on amazon for many years, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it now. Please help
You don’t have to have it case packed. I went over this in the video @11:58
With regard to the address of origin, I happen to own a home in California. You mentioned that I can use my own address. Would you recommend using the home address that I have in California? Or do you altogether advise against using a home address?
You can try it and see if you get a favorable Amazon warehouse.
Im buying a pallet from a supplier which contains over 500 units so should I select a pallet option instead of case pack?
If you’re palletizing them, yes.
Hello
My question here is that when Amazon has given us the address of four warehouses, do we have to send our goods to four different warehouses? Or we will ship to the one address and Amazon will automatically ship it to four warehouses? I am getting confused here . Depending on your product and what Amazon needs at the time, it may not be available. Try again later or choose a different option
So when i enter my manufacture's address in China, Partner carrier is available from China to USA. It gives the option for ocean or Air express and then it even has pickup services available. Are you sure its domestic only? because if i could do this through Amazon instead of getting a freight forwarder, i would prefer to do this.
This is a new option that came out after this video was made. You can give it a try and see how well it works. People have reported having issues though and the price you see doesn't include duty and taxes. Going with your own FF has its benefits, you get to build trust and working relationship with them.
I have accidentally chosen the "Manufacturer barcode" on 'send to amazon' page. Now I cannot revert back to FNSKU. Would you please tell me how can I make the change ? :(
You can change the barcode setting on your account, then delete the listing and create a new one using the same UPC and SKU. Or you can try uploading a flat file.
