very helpful , I am doing Amazon FBA UK and sourcing from China, I think the key thing of doing FBA is to find professional suppliers and freight forwarder to handle your first leg for your Amazon FBA, like IRFREIGHT, highly recommended.
I have a 5-6% return rate on new electronics but only 1-2% on used electronics. The used/collectible electronics always sell again but I have never had a new electronic item be able to sell again. I wish Amazon would send all those items back to me so I could prep and sell them as used! Scenery looks great I hope you have some time to go fishing!

@@NikkiKirk I got an email saying they shipped it on the 22 and on the 25 I received another email stating "refund initiated for order". The refund reason states it is a "customer refund" but no other reason on why they returned.
@@kaylah4145 oh then you might not actually get a reason, that is the reason. And it sounds like maybe it was a non returnable items so you won’t see it back

Returns is such a tricky and key part of selling online and in my case POD drop-shipping, yet there are virtually no good videos or other media out there to give the level of insight you provided! Well done!! One question, although you mentioned returns go up if you sell more, and returns are roughly at the same level across categories, what % of units sold are typical return levels? 1%, 5% or even 10% of units sold are returns? One article I read states between 5%-15%, which is ouch! I'd be grateful to hear your experience. Tks! Hans
If you sell a fragile item on FBA and you get a bad feedback saying that the item arrived broken... Amazon will take the bad feedback off your account saying this "Message from Amazon: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfillment experience." . At least that's what they do with me. I can see that they left bad feedback but their is a black line across what the buyer said and that message by amazon bellow it. So your account is gonna be good again.

Or should I pay use prepaid shipping label. Actually the other setting choice is " I will provide a prepaid mailing label for this request" Thank you

Hi Nikki, I would like to know how to do a replacement for a FBM item. My customer is returning an item and says she doesn’t like the color. She asked if we could swap out for the other color of the same item. Since Amazon automatically sends the customer the return shipping label I don’t see how I can just replace the item without the customer just purchasing the color she wants on Amazon and her sending back the incorrect item. Is there a way to do this? Or is this just done as two separate transactions, the return and the new purchase? Thank you!
Thank you. This was much needed. I do have quite a bit of clothing and am getting some returns. Even Socks! Who returns socks! Return reason was that the product did not meet the customer's expectation. Well, these are nice long thick work socks. The listing is very clear about that. Anyhow.......Amazon report says "COMPLETE" then, shows "Return not expected". I am guessing that the socks are not coming back. Is that correct? But, I would not want them back anyways......hahaha.
Nikki, can you find Mead neatbooks (no wire) in WIDE-RULED format? How about Mead or Five Star single subject notebooks in WIDE-RULED? The Target brand (Up and Up) in wide-ruled notebooks are also an option. I am looking for nice colors. Also the Embark backpack in one solid color grey...it might be listed as 19" Embark Jartop. I know they are exclusive of Target. Is there a way to tell how much the shipping would be to Canada? If it is worthwhile for you, I would be interested and I could let you know what I want from the website. Canada does not sell wide-ruled notebooks (there may be a couple at Wal-mart, but they are usually unicorns or Hello Kitty). I also get the Five Star filler paper (yes, wide-ruled) with the "tape" reinforced margins. I don't see many options on Amazon.ca or Ebay.ca. I paid $20. for Quaker grits - it's not available in Canada. lol

You can get them back and pack them all as used. Do a removal order when they arrive back to the warehouse!

Returns are not that bad, amazon has made me not get all worked up over them like many do. 99% of the time I can still resell the item.

I got a return but am unable to find the report on it. It says there are no reports available, how do I find out why the item was returned?
Did you try searching the ASIN in the FBA Customer returns report?

Why did the return label printed out by the customer have my name and home address instead of the business name and returm fullfilled by amazon?
What about refunding the costumer when item is lost or delay but the costumer wants a refund.
