    This is very useful and timely. I find sometimes it doesn't allow us to click the reconcile button and they just say they have counted it three times and not budging which is a little unhelpful.
    However if eg a complete box of units goes missing it seems easier eg if 40 units to a box and 40 missing, they've clearly lost a box 📦
    Then it is also easier if using one of their shipping partners eg UPS as they accept full responsibility.
    Part of the evidence can be a signed document of what is being shipped, signed by the prep centre and signed on pick up by the prep centre/sender and UPS. Then if it does go missing Amazon will refund it on the basis of average selling price of that asin. So in effect it actually saves having to sell it!
    Well worth keeping track of stock shipments - as you say - as in my experience it does seem to frequently go missing (and it sometimes seems to simply vanish somehow) and it negatively impacts your bottom line. Stock loss = very costly and can in some circumstances result in business failure.

    Missing shipment. I had a couple of instances in quick succession which meant a loss of around £300 in sales value. My error was allowing the manufacturers barcode as the FNSKU rather than the Amazon barcode, which my meant my stock was co-mingled and lost in the system. I now make sure I create an Amazon FNSKU. Photograph the box and contents for my records.

    dropped a like, thanks, if you are a new private label seller...and setting up your listing, you have the Generic option for brand, or putting your own. Are you allowed to put your own even though you arent brand registered? I also got barcodes from gs1 that say my brand name on them, I dont want to put generic and find out i wasnt supposed to, or vice versa..thanks!

    They someonehow lost 20 of my units bare in mind I sent 80 of them all in the same box and told me only 60 arrived (ups carrier)

    How important is it to include box content photos in your claim? If this is important documentation, what would be the quickest and most efficient way to take and upload the photos and tagging them to the appropriate shipment ID?

    They lost 10 items out of my 1st shipment, sent them all the info even sent them video evidence from my prep centre to show it being packed... the crazy thing everything else in the ship arrived. But they won't refund me as they said they've already counted it 3 time and couldn't find them

    I shipped 10 units of same product in 1 box, the discrepancy shows 18 units and in shipments tab it has a +8 under the discrepancy , do i have to worry about the gaining numbers ?or should i just leave it like that. Thanks

    Question my supplier in China asked for my billing to create a commercial invoice for payment and start packaging the products… what do they mean by billing shouldn’t they send me a bill first ?

    I am struggling with a lot of shipments lately. Amazon received one-box-shipment with 6 different products and marked 5 out of 6 as 0 received "Investigation completed - shipment contents counted and confirmed" and I cannot make them refund me. I created a case, attached invoices, proof of delivery, and all the different docs ( the weight of the box would differ a lot with 5 products missing) but they just reply with an automatic response like
    "We have completed an additional check in response to your request. We have no record of receiving the following expected items" Is there any other way to deal with this? I would really appreciate it if you respond. Thank you
