I just repainted my galvanized shed roof with red oxide primer and rustoleum almond paint. All rattle cans and it took forever. Really hard job. Yours looks awesome.
@@HaroldJackson Harold, I just put one together almost the same as yours, is a 8x6 Shed. My mistake was that I didn't use the screws it came with and no washers on the roof, I used a different type of screws (longer), now is leaking. My question is: will that coating be enough to seal those screw heads and stop the leaking? Or do I have to unscrew the whole roof and use the silicone washers it came with, this is what I want to avoid, undoing the whole roof. Please advise. Thanks 😥😥
@@anubis8086 sorry to hear that you didn't use the right screws. But hey things happen 😲 I think it would be better off to put rubber washers on the roof. That roof coating is expensive! 💵 Good luck! 🍀
Thanks for the video I just painted mine this weekend but not sure what were the original screws since most of them are warped with time. What bolts and size did you use?
Thanks for a nice video. Could you please say the name of the stuff that you used. I have a flat metal roof that the last winter leaked. Thank You very much.
Juny: I found Metal one at Home Depot, 10 foot long. Search: HD: Galvalume White Ridge Cap $28.00 . AMZ: Elast-Kool $45. Screws $7.00. Total Cost: $80.00.

Thanks for the nice video, my metal shed is a very similar one and now starts to leak. Where did you buy your new cap, please?

I have the same arrow shed. I can't attach the ridge cap! Help
It needs screw in middle of roof which I can't reach.
Ps I used squares of cut inner tube for missing washers.
If the metal goes all the way across you don't need screws on the middle. Good luck.
Brother uhhhhh
Horrible Horrible repetitive music. . Couldn't watch your video in full.
