“The wrong way kids were something more than friends” This song makes me cry every time, especially the video. I’m so glad there are other wrong way kids out there and that we have a family. Punk saved me and helped me understand myself. I hope punk saved you guys too.
Even though I dont know Greg Graffin (or any BR member) I feel like he's been a "father" figure to me, I grew up pretty much by myself since I was 13 after my mom passed away, and through all my teenage troubled years there was always Greg's voice through BR songs that helped me continue moving forward and decided to stay away from trouble and chase education, values and become a better person. I always say BR saved my life because its true. I am 33 now and been listening to them for over 20 years, every once in a while I come back to see this video because it brings so many memories & nostalgia, I hope they can rock for many more years to come. Cheers to everybody who enjoys BR.
32-year-old here and I know what you mean. I'm glad your music's been good to you and I'm glad you're moving in a positive direction that you want. Keep on keepin' on, yo.
I am one of those Wrong Way Kids. I am a school teaching and I have my masters degree. And I love this band with my whole heart. I don't know If would have survived high school without their music. Thank you so much Bad Religion and punk rock
Wow this weird okay the singer was my professor I’d never thought he was a singer in rock band he always came off to me as a nerdy person this awesome. Dr graffin was a cool professor I miss that guy
I've gained new appreciation for this song now after watching this video. It an homage to themselves in a way, and an appreciation of all the musicians that made Bad Religion what it is. Hell, I smiled each time Bobby Schayer showed up. I'm still sad to see Wackerman go though. Bad Religion, the best band ever.
I don't know about "The Best", because that's a hard stamp. But "One of the Best"? That's just an easy and unconditional yes, my dude. There's a ton of great bands out there, but few make me smile quite like Bad Religion. Good shit, yo.
5 years later, I'm 1 trillion percent with you. There might be more technically accomplished bands, bands that have tighter catalogues (I think we can agree there was a bit of a dark period for a little while in the early 2000s) but no band makes my heart swell with joy and want to get in the pit like Bad Religion. (To be clear, "5 years later" is in relation to your comment...first time I saw them was 1998, closing in on 20 live shows since).
saw their live concert in Jakarta. Dropped some tears watching them alive before my eyes... Been listening for almost 24 years, still damn good... Please come AGAIN to Jakarta!
when they concert in Jakarta I was in high school and don't have enough money to come their concert , sad :( but glad to see my fav. Band get better along side their age:) waiting next album in 2019
this song makes me shed tears of joy. both because it reminds me of my friends, and because the video just hows all the great years BR has had. lets hope they still have many to come!
This release is already 10 years old! Dude we don't stop aging but with Bad Religion we will always age well. I been a fan since 1993 and this is one of their best songs, in the ranks with their greatest oldest stuff.
This band has a special place in my heart. Always will. Been listening over 15 years and never got tired. Hope they'll keep going on keeping the punk intelligent and melodic.
Seeing this old footage gives the song a whole new feeling. Congrats to Bad Religion for 30 years of changing lives and bringing the house down one venue at a time. Five more years...!
How? One of the most popular punk bands ever....everyone I know has heard of them at least. Many punk bands are underrated and under appreciated, not sure how BR could qualify, hell I have even seen videos of them on MTV at a point.
MTV means shit, tbh, and I mean they're not conidered much punk comparing to other punk bands. Plus, MTV said Simple Plan was punk... So I really don't base my opinions or anything for that matter on those people...

My first BR show was Warped Tour 98, and I'm pretty sure they've got better every time I've seen them. Their show last November in SF was INCREDIBLE. These guys are masters and I hope they continue playing for a long time.
There is indeed some light at the end of the tunnel. And you're part of that light; for me at least. _A_ Bad Religion song may not be enough to make my life complete, but a bunch of 'em all-together have certainly helped me out whenever hard times hit. Thanks for all the music all these years, yo.
just listening to bad religion gets you a PHD in punk rock. This song is perfectly nostalgic. To the youngsters... go back to the beginning - It's all relevant. This is your favorite bands favorite band.
Bad Religion is just epic for staying the same throughout their entire career, that is why people will always be a fan of them, and what they do! Keep punk rocking guys!!
I'm young and I've only known of Bad Religion for a few years, but I hope they're around forever, even after Greg dies I would hope someone carries on their style
There's some people arguing about how Greg dress? Really? I mean, does your clothes make you more punk? The fuck guys. Punk rock it's in the heads and hearts of those who feel free enough to think by themselves. There shouldn't be any kind of acceptable casket.
The world is so fucked up in such a hilarious way. Bad Religion Songs have lyrics so profound and meaningful that the majority of people/listeners (including me) will probably never even fully get the entire meaning of them, yet here we are having people say that the lead singer isn't punk because he doesn't dress like it.
Im from the small island of Malta and Bad Religion have been my fave Band for 20 years Ive seen them only once in Rome Italy Live Link festival and it was the best most facsinating one hour of my life...:D LONG LIVE BAD RELIGION!!!!!
Just saw them in Denver on the 15th of April. As usual they rocked the freakin show. Been a fan goin on 20yrs now. This song sounded great at that show.

"I've changed a lot, ya know. And I don't think my life is ever gonna stay and I don't think anyone who's honest with themselves will say that theirs will either." Its from an interview recorded around the time of the "back to the known" EP
I can't wait for the Jarocin gig in Poland in a couple of weeks! I've been a fan for a long time, but this will be my first chance to see them live. Bad Religion forever!!!
My first show was in 1991 and I still love these guys. Wish i could have seen them in the early 80's but was too young and wasnt aware of them yet. However, 20 years of Bad Religion and being a huge fan, this video creates a lot of nostalgia. :(
Recalling a quote from Jay Bentley saying "Being a punkrocker is about not caring what other think and doing what you want, so therefore sometimes liking Madonna can be the most punkrock thing you can do". That's not an exact quote but it went along those lines.
