Nice to see a new woodworking channel. As someone who's been doing woodworking for about 2.5 years, I've watched MANY ww videos. While it was fine at first, I've found watching people cut wood extremely boring and pointless. I would concentrate more on the project design and putting the final piece together. It goes without saying that you have to cut wood to make things, but we don't need to watch people do that. Unless the cuts are actually interesting and not simply routine, we don't need to see it.
@Builders_Garage keep in mind that everyone is gonna have there opinions. Build your channel the way you want it to be. Remember there is alot of new people getting into wood working so start to finish videos are nice. As he said he's been watching so for him yes it's boring but for others is very helpful.
@@Builders_Garageyeah not everyone is the same, I love woodworking and I like watching people cut wood lol. Just like Im a truck driver and I still like to watch other truck drivers drive. You always learn something new even if you think you know how to do the thing you do everyday.
I like this idea and it turned out nice. However, I saw you make a cut that pretty much is a no no and I'm not pointing it out to bash on you but to prevent some inexperienced woodworker from being hurt. When you were cutting the top you did a crosscut using the fence. Can it be done, absolutely, but it's not a good idea. With that said, I'm likely gonna follow your design for a nice basic toy box.
