Holy crap this brings back memories. This was always my favourite manager game as well. So many hours spent playing this with friends cramped around a computer monitor when we were younger. Good times.

Yeah, everyone had a favorite goalscorer, i am not sure about mine, but his name was Smith or something like that, he was youngster during first season but man, he was able to score three goals per game :)

I have been trying to get this running on my android i have installed the game but when i boot the game it comes with "application could not start please try again or reinstall" any way round this? Also I'm currently playing cm0102 on android works like a dream but this game was something different and amazing

Shit i spend tons of hours playing this game before move to cm4. Their engine very smooth, fast to save and load the save game (if u know what i mean 😂) , bring cardiff to EPL really hit me 😅
For me birthday my mum askd whether i wanted a North Face jacket or a pc. I chose the pc. Then I came across this game.... I would cover my pc with blankets so the fan wouldnt make noise during nights just to play this game.... One day, i did a format C: on my pc and i never got to play this game again..... This was over 20 years ago..... Now im going all in to get it to work again in 2021 :P
BTW, I downloaded the game and played a little bit. The players improve too fast from training, it's unrealistic. Pity. Plus it's almost impossible to buy players when you play with 4th division team lol.
Try this: 1. Open ISO file. 2. Copy all files and folders into a new folder on your desktop. 3. Create a folder within the new folder called 'TACTICS'. 4. Mount the ISO file but run the game from the copied files in your new folder. 5. Play the life out of this beautiful game.
Open ISO file Copy all filesi into a USB drive. Add TACTICS folder into game folder (for saving) Thats all With this method i can still olay this game with win 10 and win 8.1
By creating a player that is currently playing, I can dump its saved file. As an example, I can transfer Neymar and Messi to the game. As a hack. I'm still playing. I'm in 2055.
There was an easy money hack, especially if you start at the bottom of the pyramid. So start as your team ex- div3 swansea. Then, pick a team from each of the above divisions. Take the prem team ( man utd) if their budget is 9m, buy 5 players at the same time from the team in div 1 for 9m. That team then has 45m. So buy 5 players from a team in div 2 for 45m each. The div 2 team then has 225m . Then buy 5 players from swansea for 225m each. Swansea get £1.225b Make sure you offer for all 5 at the same time, offer from the team in a higher division to make sure they go. You can do another step where you buy from a high orem team to a low prem team. But it's not necessary
Players that were gold on this game, Rodney Jack (torquay) would score in every game in div 3 lol. Taylor (Blackpool) 3 Mill n was already a 4 half star ha, Mario Jardel (Porto) could score from halfway line lol. Smith RB (Brighton) could run the whole pitch from right back n cross in every highlight clip haha
I remember Taylor :) But two best cheap players for me were Dario Scotto and Pete or Phil or sth like that Bardsley if I remember correctly. First one is Argentinian, second one Canadian. Longest time played - Grimsby Town, once at least 12 seasons I think :)

It's a shame you can't display the in-match graphics, I lost hours watching my own team play. The stadium never changed though.
Yeah, stadium was always the same, but it was something huge back there, 3D engine was superb and so much fun, when you played against your friend
