Thanks for the heads up! I have a siphon type airbrush, and have been intimidated about using it. I’m glad to someone explaining what to do if you have one. Now I feel way more confident using my new Badger. I’m glad I found your post!!
Dont know if anyone gives a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my brother for the last weeks :)
I got into airbrushing about a year ago, because I was wanting to do more custom paint jobs on my RC bodies. I started with the Gravity fed Neo, which I love. I got the TRN 2 next and I love it even more, and earlier tonight we were in Hobby Lobby and I seen the BCN and after a few minutes of begging my wife she gave me the go ahead lol, I'm hoping I love it like I do my other 2.
I’ve been watching a bunch of airbrushing videos. Your video is the best one that I’ve seen, because I have a Badger siphon feed. I’ve been nervous about using it, but you’ve shown that it’s not that difficult to clean and maintain one. Thanks again!
On my neo there is a grease like substance on the threads of the main cap you unscrew… after cleaning, that substance is almost gone. Do I need to replace that grease ?
There is no o ring on the main cap, correct? If not then the grease is just there to make the cap screw on easy and to possibly protect the threads. You can add a little bit of oil to a cotton bud and apply to the threads if you wish but is not a necessity.
The only O-ring was on the Nozzle. I left it on the nozzle and did not take it off, so when I reassembled it, the nozzle was screwed back in with the O-ring attached.
My eclipse isn’t spraying anything, not even water. And when I back flush it, it starts flushing as soon as I push down for air only, which I thought that should only happen when I pull back (after pushing down of course)…please help, thx
I'm guessing the needle isn't seated correctly or is bent or a bent tip. Disassemble it and check the needle. If it is ok and no damage, carefully re-seat it and try again. Otherwise you may need to buy a new needle.
Thank u 🙏🏾

You didn’t put the o ring back on, or if you did I missed it
