To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I will say for the beats fit pro there is an EQ integrated with iOS. Like typical Apple though, you really have to dig through the settings.
You can find it under accessibility/audio&visual/ headphone accommodations.
Here you can choose between vocal, treble, or balanced modes and how strong each effect is.
    Hope someone sees this.

Yeah the Vista 2 are pretty terrible. I spent a few months with mine and they’ve now quit working completely. The ANC was horrible. I bought the Beats Fit Pro yesterday and took them on a couple runs. ANC is incredible, there is wind noise but with a running beanie its not a big deal to me. The Vista one’s were great, I had 2 pairs of them but the ANC on the Beats tops it for me.

Really great detailed review. I can definitely agree that the Jaybirds are the weakest sounding ones here. They sound so harsh and messy overall. The Harman Target settings definitely improve the sound for me. It sounds more natural and pleasing. First i found it a little dull but after a song or 2, it sounds actually more pleasant and detailed than before. There are about 5 settings including for the vista 1 which i think also work on the 2, some with bass changes and a bright version. Really a nice pick of different flavors to suit your taste that improved the sound a lot for me personally.

Nice and covers main questions most folks want answered before laying down some serious cash. Just bought myself some Beats Fit Pro to supplement my existing AirPods Pro. I’m planning to use each set of buds for equal amounts of time so hopefully that’ll extend their battery life a bit. I’d have liked to wireless charging with the otherwise excellent case (except the lid having a fair amount of lateral movement…). Only had my Beats Fit Pro a week but I’m already 100% certain that I’ve made the right choice to supplement my AirPods Pro. There are some really neat protective cases available for the Beats Fit Pro whilst they are in their charging case, the one I’ve ordered definitely will help keep my Beats Fit Pro charging case look good for longer. I really enjoyed watching this comparison review video, you come across as someone who is easy to watch & listen to. I enjoyed the review. I liked that you compared the pass through audio of each, as that is important as a marathon runner to be able to hear through decently. I also liked that you did the microphone using the same script and tone of voice each time for comparison. I would suggest trying the pass through audio mode for each as well as the microphone during windy conditions, such as having a fan blowing on you while using them. I have found that the pass through often picks up and greatly amplifies the wind noise on both the Jabra Elite 7 and Jaybird, to the point that it overrides all other passing through audio.
    Well done video. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the video bro. I just bought a pair of Beats Fit Pro after doing a ton of research but I don’t think they’re worth the $160 at all. The sound quality is pretty clean and I enjoy the spatial audio but holy shit there’s no bass at all and it’s really disappointing. It’s frustrating I can’t adjust the equalizer at all aside from the presets on iPhones.
I’m torn between the JBL’s and the Jabras. I personally am indifferent towards controls so as long as they’re comfortable and have that sound quality with heavy bass I’m happy. I listen to a lot of metal and hip hop so I definitely want the complete package.

I have the beats fit pro and I had the vista 2. The Vista 2 had a lot of connection issues and the sound quality/anc was severely lacking. I'm thinking about picking up the jbl flow pro to test against the beats fit pro for my perfect earbuds. I personally need something solid in anc/transparency, sound quality and fit for my gym time and runs. I'm sending my TWM2 back to Amazon. If you could do a head to head of the beats fit pro and the LP3 it would be appreciated!

    Just purchased the Vista 2.
I've had a pair of JBL earbuds (not the reflect) before and I absolutely hated them. I left them on top of my car by accident and drove off and wasn't even mad when I realized what happened.
I was debating on getting the Jabra, but I've read many reviews that complained they had to be adjusted when working out at the gym and they absolutely would not stay in during a run, which is my biggest peeve when running.
I had the Jaybird Run XT for 2 years and didn't have any major complaints, so I am excited about the Vista 2.

Did u notice any connection problem with the Vista 2, I recently bought one from Best Buy and honestly it wasn’t that good, the sound was alright and connection pretty bad, I mean I only used it for a couple of hours but, my new beats fit pro just destroys the vista 2 in always every way possible, sound spectacular, fit perfect. Except for Qi charge, durability, and eq/app, the fit pro takes the crown, but I do have a sister who has a Samsung, and I don’t think she would gain much from using the beats, I was think about getting the jabra or maybe the vista 2, I didn’t spend much time using it (couple of hours) and was wondering what is ur opinion on it. Did u receive any connection issues or was the one I got a dud?

    • @ethancharles2189
      @ethancharles2189 2 года назад +2

@@No-bz9tw I have been using the Vista 2 for about two weeks and I absolutely LOVE them. They are my favorite active earbuds I have ever owned. I have had no connectivity issues whatsoever, the sound imo is decent, especially with the sound customization with the app (my jaybird run XT had this, so I am used to a sound setting i like) and the best thing about them is that they actually STAY in your ear.
I like to run outside, anywhere from 3-6 miles, so the most important thing for me when using earbuds is that they stay in the ear. These are the first pair of earbuds I have owned where I don't even get the urge to check them while running. Once they are in, they are in and never get a feeling like they are going to fall.
I was looking at the Beats because they were a similar price to the Vistas, but the IPX4 rating was a non-starter for me. I need at least IPX7 and the Vista 2 is IP68. I am a heavy sweater in a hot humid climate so I need that peace of mind.

Had the Beats pro sound is impressive…areas that need to be addressed….in due time I’m sure after the feedback ……1 the silicone ear canal adapters are horrible quick fix is the memory foam …..2 they stick out way too much compared to the AirPods Pro …….touch features on the buds are a hinder…prone to accidental unwanted engagement…for instance wearing a beanie or a bandanna…3 the case is really cheap and yet no wireless charging,go figure!! All day with these on fails not comfortable. In my opinion …….comparing this to the apple AirPods Pro note to one I did swap out the silicone and used an after market inner wing totally awesomeness and later I didn’t even have to use the wing …..it stays in the ear most of day with no discomfort……I’m babbling, lol …….I’ll wait till the next Gen AirPod pros to come out!!! Hopefully they listened…..😎👊🏼 Great review!! T/Y
