Hello! One question, I have a go 3 AND sounds great but also want a flip 6, you mentioned piercing highs Is it fixable with the eq or stays the same.
One thing to note, they say the flip has 12 hour battery life and the charge has 20 hour. But my flip dies within 4 hours at half volume. I'm not sure how long the charge 5 lasts but I'm feeling like I should've got it for the longer battery and it barely costs more
Yeah the flip batter life’s are not so good. But I think the flip 5 was the worst

You probably got a fake flip 6 like I did... I'm getting a refund tmw of it cannot link with the app its most likely fake, other signs is you can peel off "JBL"

omg the soundboks is so amazing. I used it for a fight party that we had outside on a big projector. EVERYONE kept walking to the speaker just amazed how loud and clear ir was. it was so funny to watch it sounded like we were at the fight even on a half acre backyard no sound drop off
i miss it :( they made me send it back after review but the charge 5 will be a great travel speaker for you.

Mid is in the MIDDLE

I had the same issue. I know charge 5 is better and you can olso charge your phone, but the flip 6 is good enough and you get the portability. I can throw it in my pocket and go out. That's the point for a portable speaker: to be portable
Yeah that small flip it good to throw in a bag. Not take up a lot of space and weight it down.
i don't think you can throw it since the pockets are usually small. you'll have to slowly push it and will look like a massive lump in pants.
I didn t mean jeans pockets. I carry it easily in a jacket or a hoodie pocket. I can even fit the speaker in cargo pants.
I was torn between JBL Flip 6 and JBL Charge 5... cause using my JBL Flip 3 and battery has gone down... happy that i upgrade to the JBL Charge 5.. . Loud sound and more bass... only thing is, abit more bigger and heavy...

Excellent test. I closed my eyes and listened with you and the Charge 5 was far superior imo to the flip. For the record I've owned a flip 4 for years and loved it until it no longer paired with my iphone (but will to my son's for some reason) so I did love the flip...until you blind hear them side by side.
Have you tried doing “forget my device” and reconnecting in Bluetooth settings?
Are you going to do a review on the new 30watt tribit xsound maga. If so can you compare it with both the jbl charge 5 and the jbl flip 6.

1. JBL charge 5

I absolutely loved my Charge 4, then i got the Charge 5. Bought a Flip 6 for 89 cyber Monday to connect to my charge 5 while at work.
Charge 5 IMO is the best speaker in Sound and Price. 2 1/2 days before i have to charge it.

I think he sets them both on max volume and that's stupid cuz he knows without seeing them which speaker is playing

Flip is more portable and sounds great at the lower volume settings but the Charge is more powerful and sounds better at the higher volumes

Flip is way more crisp... Just bc something is louder doesn't mean it sounds better!! People are stupid... The bass can't out perform the highs! Some people who do these reviews remind me of people who would have systems in their car where the license plate would rattle and they'd be like yea that sounds dope!! 🙄
I have both speakers, I prefer the sound on Charge 5, and it has nothing to do with loundness.
I currently own both of them. Both of them are on the latest firmware, and I can say the JBL Flip 6 does sound a little bit better and more balanced. The high notes on the JBL Charge 5 are a little harsh.

@@zapr0 it got the update that added an EQ and this charge 5 is one of the best in class. Absolutely love it and I have speakers from small to larger pa equipment.

Yeah you can use both and have then playing together is great I do it from time to time it sounds amazing having them on opposite sides of the room

@@RobinTorrekensTravelVlog yeah you must used the same jbl model for stereo, i have charge 5 and flip 5 then pairing them its not stereo sound just loudness from two speaker, i thought maybe because flip 5 just single woofer without tweeter and i ask jbl store dealership they said it must pair with two same model.

Yeah charge 5 for sure is a good pick up and the EDM will sound great on there. Make sure to download the JBL portable app because they have EQ now so you can customize your sound a little bit 👍🏾

You know you mentioned that the app updated the EQ on the charge 5 and the flip 6 but the part that baffles my mind the extreme 3 the most expensive speaker and no EQ update that I cannot seem to understand $350 in their updating the EQ on the charge 5 and the flip 6 a little backwards the extreme 3 should have a EQ set up for the price I can't wrap my head around that $350 speaker and no EQ option on the app lol🤣 smh just wow jbl company

The people saying the Flip6 sounds more balanced are wrong. I am an audiophile and the Charge 5 clearly sounds better and richer. The flip 6 seems like its mostly Treble with little bass. How is that Balanced? . Charge 5 is also 119$ at macys right now compared to 130 flip 6.

You can make Flip 6 sound like the Charge 5… that being said you can make tue Charge 5 sound like the Xtreme3
i had my flip 6 great rap song from ph yeah..
I was fucking crazing myself when i bought both of them and couldn't believe the flip 6 sounds actually better, someone here in the comments said he's an audiophille and charge 5 is better but what that shit is is a bunch of bass, muffled mids and acceptable highs, a bluetooth speaker should be crisp with bass but not overwhelming like charge 5 does, that's the difference and i recommend you to go with the Flip 6, especially the GG version which is also crisp and bassy

Ummm... don't see the point of having the charge 5 at a higher volume than the flip 6.... technicaly you can't compare sound between these two if you have them blasting on different volumes. Maybe if you tryed to match the volume on both and then compare them might be a bit more interesting.
