I actually have Return 40th with his head sculpt posed up with some Imperial Praetorian Guards and I decided to get Kenobi Deluxe Vader as well.(It comes with maybe my favorite base the light up one.) I think both are great for different reasons, this vader is with the rest of the Kenobi like i own minus Purge Trooper.(Which i have since replaced in the display with a Jedi Survivor game Purge Trooper Commander).
I agree, they are both great in their own rights, if you can have both, by all means you get best of both worlds.
I love this Vader as well although both are pleather am still getting the 40th cuz of the head sculpt is unique cuz it’s Sebastian Shaw and that scene always gets me when he tells Luke to tell his sister that he was right 😢 he finally had redemption. Now the new one that’s battle damaged looks amazing and is not pleather that one is to me the ultimate Vader so am getting it cuz it looks awesome.
I understand, financially if I could I would've bought them together, unfortunately I have to pick one but honestly both of them looks amazing
