I appreciate people listing their suggestions for folks! It's awesome! Hero Bullion seems to receive a consistent nod. I haven't done business with them but it doesn't mean you shouldn't. Just do your research with anyone before buying. Thanks all for watching!
I’m very sorry for the stupid question. I have never purchased precious metals before. I’m am doing it out of panic with the banking system. Is the $amount over spot just what the company charges so they can make a profit for providing and shipping the product? Sorry
Buying stocks might seem easy, but picking the right one without a solid plan is tough. I've been trying to grow my $100K portfolio, but the tricky part is not having clear plans for when to buy and sell. Any tips on this would really help.
@RoseSmith-v7g Thank you! I entered her full name into my browser, and her website came out on top. I filled her form and i hope she gets back to me soon.
Like the lottery with a giant check, a dealer giving away a monster box eventually needs to post a picture of a winner holding the monster box … otherwise it creates skepticism.
Glad you said it. I've been very skeptical about the monster box giveaway. Posting some form of proof of a winner would go a long way to their customers.
@Heist You got that right! I’ve been seeing those BS claims of a Monster Box giveaway for months but there’s never been a deadline or winner. I stopped watching that channel for that reason.
Love your insights and thoughts. I was surprised to hear that you have had issues with sticky fingers at the USPS because I have had several issues of late also. I filed a complaint that fell to deaf ears .I can't stand a thief especially in my government.
Before making an On-Line metals purchase, I've found that it definitely pays to shop and compare ... The difference between one Dealer's price and another (for the same item) can often be substantial. My go-to Dealers are "Monument Metals", "SilverGold Bull" & "Bullion Exchange". I've regularly done business with all three of these and have never had any issues or bad experiences!
I always get nervous about the online dealer's shipping via USPS, which is often the service they use without having to pay extra for. I always have my shipments sent to my work so that I know I (or someone else) will be present to sign for them. However, during COVID, the postal worker would leave the signature only package in our shared mailboxes where anyone with a crowbar could get into it. To add insult to injury, when I checked online they claimed that I signed for it! Once the postal worker marks the package as delivered, the online dealer's insurance ends. So if a dishonest postal worker who knows what's inside decides to help themselves to the package and marks it as delivered, then you're out of luck!
Good to see you back! Monument has been my go to for the last year! Great prices and fast shipping. Maybe not a huge "catalog" , but for me a boring stacker like me, they work the best!
Monument has the best prices, I order from them regularly. I keep saying that SDBullion should give Monument their slogan, because it's a hypocrisy for SDB to use it.
I have a coin shop in small town heartland America. I buy from a variety of sources including online vendors like Hero Bullion, Bullion Exchanges and MM. Like them all. I appreciate your videos and enjoy listening to your experiences and opinions. Keep it up.

Monument metals Bullion exchange Bold precious metals SilverGoldBull Liberty Coins Hero Bullion Are my favorite 💪🏻 great video! I do like APMEX for exclusive releases tho
Bullion exchange???? They're EXPENSIVE!!!! Monument is the cheapest on a daily basis, then Hero and Bold. But Bullion Exchanges is an entire 18cents higher than Monument right now. that's a huge margin.
APMEX was my first purchases for gold and silver. They were pricey and charged for shipping. I use Texas Precious Metals for 10oz silver bars, I like their price and design plus free shipping. Thanks for the information on other suppliers.
After the metals market crashes in March of 21, these online dealers jacked up their premiums on all their products. It was nearly impossible to find low premium silver and gold. Things have recent gotten better and premiums are coming back down to earth. When premiums become so high, that the chances of spot price exceeding my cost of the product and premium is pretty dim.
My LCS is a bad LCS unfortunately. Golden Eagle Coins, Golden State Mint and Hero Bullion are my mainstays. Shipping and customer service are top notch.
What makes an LCS good or bad? Is it just down to good or bad attitudes of the owner/salespeople? Or are there practices that sometimes happen that make them good or bad?
@@trekkiejunk In my case, I was in my LCS in mid-March, typically went weekly and spent between $100 and $200, and on that day while I was browsing he bought a couple of US 90% sliver quarters and dimes from someone. Paid 10x. I put 8 US half dollars on the counter. While he was adding up the price, I asked how much for the silver he just bought. He wanted 24x. I realize businesses need to make a profit but to pay 10x (which was below spot) then less than 5 minutes later sell to a good customer for 24x when the going rate is 22x, was, to me, disappointing. A fool and his money are soon parted. I realized that fool was me. I paid $150 for my 8 halves and walked out the door for the last time. Everything he has in his shop I can buy on-line for less.
I started stacking a few months ago. I've ordered from several companies but most of my orders are from Monument Metals. I ordered a tube of silver maples today. I've not had any issues. The reason I mostly deal with Monument Metals is not only because they often have a good price but they let me pay eCheck and get the lower price without using a middleman. SD Bullion, Bullionexchange and others require you to utilize a middleman which means giving them the account login credentials to your checking account!!! are you crazy??? I will never give my bank account login info to anyone or any company. The first time I found out about this was early on in my stacking and I had a several thousand dollar order in my cart with SD Bullion. They lost that sale.
If you have a cc with cash kickback, you will not beat the prices of Liberty coin and Bullion exchanges Ebay stores. Both reliable IMO. Liberty ships the fastest. Also, you have the added security of using a cc as opposed to ACH. Check it out.
Great video , unfortunately I live in New Jersey that taxes all Bullion’s so I cannot buy from these online sites. For those of us in tax states we hunt out Good online dealers that do not collect State. Golden State Mint, Golden Eagle coin and Stout Gold.
SD Bullion states on their website that you are responsible for taxes, and they do not add the tax to their price. Did you try to order from them to New Jersey?
Wish I watched this before I start. My first purchase was from JM because I heard they were very good but now I have realized that they are charging a lot more than other companies.
Very Happy with Apmex for years. Pre 1933 G coins and cool unique products for Gkids. Also shipping is FAST. I don't like when I have to sign and then I am not home and I have to go to the PO to get my coins! I just ordered from SD Bullion and got a piece of silver at spot for new customers. Nice piece. I have not tried JM Bullion or even heard of Monumental Metal. Will check them out. TY
My main thing is price because I buy plain vanilla stuff. In the last few months I have seen the best prices with bold precious metals, bullion exchanges and silver gold bull. I also got some good deals with BG ASC and monument metals
Ampex might be a little more but I’m ok with that for starting to stack. I’ll go local if I can but they have nice choices if you want a few special pieces. After I get my “nice/ premium” special pieces the rest will be what I get at the best price
Have done many orders with SD, Monument, and Hero. Each with no problem, good service and lower prices on what I'm looking for at the time. I've done a couple orders with Apmex and JM, but I'm not normally needing anything I can't get easily and at a lower cost from my go-to onliners.
New stacker here. I’ve bought from JM. Won’t again. Wouldn’t do a draft, had to send a physical check, process took almost a month from order to delivery. Shipped USPS, which in my opinion is the sketchiest shipper there is (and I’m the son of a postal worker) who just left my order in my rural mailbox which is along the road. Also bought from Money Metals…pretty long process there as well, but lower premium. In the mean time I found a local dealer that has premiums lower than online…will be giving my business to them as much as possible.
Yeah, anything with a check is going to be close to a month from start to finish. It is unfortunate, but the amount you purchase dictates how they ship. Your local shop will more than likely always be the better route. Maybe not for variety or volume, but for all the reasons you listed. Congrats on starting your stacking journey!
I have had 0 problems with ampax ,get alot of older stuff from there great customer service tad pricey but always got what I ordered and atleast no fakes on older stuff
I can’t find an LCS that can beat SD Bullion SilverGoldBull and BGASC. Customer service and shipping has always been top notch with them . They’ve been very honest with me. They simply have much more overhead. Great video.
Monument Metals has been my go to for a few years now. I don't normally buy from Apmex but they do have the Peanuts rounds I like to collect. Noticed you didn't mention Provident Metals. JM bullion owns Provident Metals and on occasion have a little better pricing Than JM. Great video sir.
I've bought some semi-numismatics from APMEX. They had the cheapest price that I could find anywhere on some of the coins. I bought a few of their generic rounds to get to the free shipping threshold.
I ordered some silver Maples recently from Monument. Every single coin had serious blemishes. They made it right but I am still hesitant to do business with them. I have the most confidence in SD and Hero.
I know SD billion advertises with all the youtubers but they have the slowest shipping times by far. You can pay for 1-3 days (once shipped) but they will wait a week or two to ship. You can order something from China that has to be built from scratch and it will arrive faster than some silver coins SD has in stock.
Useful information bro. I feel everyone will have different expectations as well as experiences due to thats how business works. Only thing people can do is prepare properly to protect themselves during the ordering process and receiving. Buy smart, when receiving film everything in case order is wrong for proving case, etc. SD Bullion so far has treated me best, but there are tons of great companies to include Hero too. Buying straight from the companies sometimes saves money too, I have purchased straight from Scottsdale mint before and had exceptional customer service and a sale price that beat every bullion dealer who had their products. Awesome video
Monument Metals is awesome...however my pick is Hero Bullion... fastest shipping ive ever had and better prices than all 4 you mentioned aside from maybe Monument Metals...as far as SD Bullion sweepstakes goes i think its BS too 😂 .. they need to do a live drawing
I buy from almost every dealer you named, but if you are up all night watching the charts and manipulation and they say you have locked in your price for 10 minutes, I'd expect that price. As a small buyer the only problem I've had was the bill was wrong or the site would go down at that moment, especially on weekends. I didn't really care, it was only a few bucks in real time , but when the spoofing happens and you catch it, it's like a coupon, and they all mark up the ask price a little regardless, but they have to stay in business and don;t make as much as people think. They have to hedge ,and right or it can be a tough business.
I mostly buy from Pinehurst Coins. After taxes and for the quantities I buy, they usually have the best prices. Not to mention that their shipping is lightning fast.
Golden State Mint is one of my favorite sites. Low prices and their 'Deals' are very good. Only problem is their processing and shipping is rather slow compared to the other mentions.
I've used them. I place a small order over $200 for some collectable silver. It said unable to process. Also had a email saying so. Placed another order a day later no problem. The order came in very slow. Then two weeks later the original canceled order came in. My card was billed days later. I'm probably done with them.
my experience with apmex.. bought a 2500 mintage coin from them it came damaged small ding on the side. i called no questions asked they paid for shipping to them and sent me another coin undamaged thats class. this is a low mintage coin not a lot out there and they replaced it. you know damn well they did not have many available. i have also spent 15k with them and have not gotten VIP status either. i dont care what i do care for is not getting a damaged item and the only one i ever got they replaced. classy would i pay more for that? absolutely.
Have bought (for me) significant amount from American Coin and Vault in Spokane, WA. And NO I neither work for them nor get anything for saying this. Jake and Will. Straight shooters always fair. And they ship all over.
I don’t buy from any of these companies directly. I buy a lot but exclusively on eBay now. Way better pricing than at their online stores. I don’t get how they can price lower on eBay but they do. I just bought a few 100oz bars at 2050.00 each there and get cash back on purchases.
How would you know if your buying the real thing and not a fraud. I don't trust no one. I just bought silver from the Ontario Mint. Even though I paid more. I feel good and my investments are safe. Better safe than sorry.
You buy from reliable sources who use xray metal analyzers to test the metals they have. Buying precious metals isn't a guessing game if purchased from the right source.
I’m a new stacker for about 2yrs now but you layed the information out so clear that if I was looking where to buy this video would be 100% clear how to start… although I feel like I’m still leading thanks for the information. I would definitely check out the avenue coin shop I’m located in Oakland so I’m not to far from it.
Monument Metal use to be great when started. Now forget it! Stay Away! Never Again! SD, APMEX and of course Provident very consistent. I wish you all the best and thank you for making this video.
I know I'm late to the comments however, I have to say, SD Bullion monster box give away is real and they do have a list of winners. SD Bullion is the absolute best on line dealer, every order from a 1 Oz. Silver round to a tube of gold eagles are treated exactly the same. These guy's are professional, responsible and honest. When I purchase on line , it's only with SD Bullion. No games no problems.
On the subject of Bullion dealers and their errors in my experience. Granted this is just a minor pricing error on silver but goes to show they are not weak skinned at all. SD Bullion had 500g Germania bars listed for a well below others though still above spot and I carted two and paid for them to complete the order (wish I'd bought two or three more though at that bargain price). SD Bullion just discovered their error with my order, and they adjusted the price to normal and didn't skip a beat on my order. I doubt they would do any differently if it were gold and a hundred or so dollars difference, just saying I don't think they are that thin skinned.
It has been hard to find a good LCS. The places i have found have had very minimal inventory and prices are right there with online prices, sometimes more. For now i am sticking with online orders.
While I have bought from SD bullion....I have noticed their spot price is consistently higher than the Kitco spot price....I feel that is a way to make more money off folks
I appreciate people listing their suggestions for folks! It's awesome! Hero Bullion seems to receive a consistent nod. I haven't done business with them but it doesn't mean you shouldn't. Just do your research with anyone before buying. Thanks all for watching!
Hero is legit. Easy to do business with. Fast shipping.
What do you think about Bullion Exchanges ?

I know SD billion advertises with all the youtubers but they have the slowest shipping times by far. You can pay for 1-3 days (once shipped) but they will wait a week or two to ship. You can order something from China that has to be built from scratch and it will arrive faster than some silver coins SD has in stock.
Yep. I'm seeing more SD sponsorships than before.
I like your content and your style. Integrity.
Thanks David!
I buy my silver at Avenue coin!!! That’s crazy. 😮. I just started stack with my wife. We have been buying 10oz Scottsdale stackers from them.
Very cool!
Many 'Stackers' prefer the LCS and purchase with Cash Only!
I believe the probability of paying sales tax is greater if you purchase from LCS ? ?
I mostly buy from Pinehurst Coins. After taxes and for the quantities I buy, they usually have the best prices. Not to mention that their shipping is lightning fast.
I enjoyed hearing your experiences.
I've used Apmex and JM in the past but I haven't used SD or Monument yet but I've been meaning to give them a try.
I never buy online. Face to face with no shipping costs. A lot of times can get even better deals.
Cash leaves no online trail.
Very true!
Golden State Mint is one of my favorite sites. Low prices and their 'Deals' are very good. Only problem is their processing and shipping is rather slow compared to the other mentions.
Yes, very true.
I've used them. I place a small order over $200 for some collectable silver. It said unable to process. Also had a email saying so. Placed another order a day later no problem. The order came in very slow. Then two weeks later the original canceled order came in. My card was billed days later. I'm probably done with them.
For gold. Silvergoldbull and Bullion exchange. Monument Metals for silver
I really Like SD Bullion.
my experience with apmex.. bought a 2500 mintage coin from them it came damaged small ding on the side.
i called no questions asked they paid for shipping to them and sent me another coin undamaged thats class.
this is a low mintage coin not a lot out there and they replaced it. you know damn well they did not have many available.
i have also spent 15k with them and have not gotten VIP status either. i dont care what i do care for is not getting a damaged item and the only one i ever got they replaced. classy
would i pay more for that? absolutely.
Hard to beat Hero's prices.
New subscriber here. Great video. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for the sub and for stopping by!
@@CampbellsCoins didn't know that. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Congrats on your stacking journey so far and for watching!
I will always be willing to try out a new company.
When you said Whiny Bitches , I had to pause the video to Subscribe ! Hey man I really enjoyed the Facts in your video , Thanks .
Haha, much appreciated.
Golden State Mint especially if you are a veteran. I rarely find anything brand name as cheap.
Monument Metal use to be great when started. Now forget it! Stay Away! Never Again! SD, APMEX and of course Provident very consistent. I wish you all the best and thank you for making this video.
Thanks for sharing
What went sour with monument? Thanks, and good day.
You still the man, great video
Reach EMILIA E ARIAS for assistance just search the name online. They are an approved dealer ✅
Thanks, I found Monument Metals to “easily” be the cheapest!
While I have bought from SD bullion....I have noticed their spot price is consistently higher than the Kitco spot price....I feel that is a way to make more money off folks
Every dealer has this extra premium and it varies between dealers.
Just comparing the exact same product at JM vs Monument , JM $34.87 Monument $31.27 , that was just a silver 1 oz bar using a debit .
Yep exactly. You need to shop around. JM will be a lot more for just about everything compared to SD and Monument.
