Thanks for sharing, Pat! I’d like mine to flower! I chopped her about a year ago and she’s come back but stopped growing at some point. She’s just NOT happy for some reason. lol!

Oh no! That sucks. Make sure she's well hydrated. Mine wasn't growing for a while but it wasn't getting enough water. She's doing great now

Pat does this hand pollinating technique applies to other Annonas such as SourSop, Custard Apple, and Ilama?

Not sure if it's necessary for every annona. Can't hurt. I just did a hand pollination video for my Rolinia tree last week. My friend has a soursop and she has fruit and never hand pollinated. If you have the right pollinators in your garden it won't be necessary

Does your friend lives in South Florida? As you know South Florida climate is different than ours in Central Florida. The reason I asked about the SourSop is because my tree is currently flowering for the first time and it dropped 1 flower and it dried out. This happened after a heavy rain fall we had the other day. I have new flowers coming alone and wanted to know if this was something I needed to do to get it to successfully fruit.

@@Carlos1075 she does but I also have another friend in palm Bay who has lots of soursop. His tree is big so I don't think he hand pollinate all. I would definitely hand pollinate it if it were my tree to ensure fruit especially while it's still young. Another thing is they often drop their first few fruit so that could be it too
