I agree that Porro should be in over White, White's been poor this season. Zinchenko is something of a defensive liability, but sort of like Trent, his main job is his work in the midfield. Plus, Premier League champion. Having a liability as a centre-back is not great, and up until this bad run of form Arsenal have had in December, they were the best defence in the league, thanks to Saliba and Gabriel.

Current form + somewhat overall, but who I would take rn: GK: Vicario. No debate RB: Ben White. Porro is currently better this season, but I think White is honestly underrated. He's a better defender and can get up front and put in decent work. Porro is not slouch in defending, but I think White edges it on that department by some good distance (attacking-wise it's Porro, but I'm taking White) CB: Saliba. Right sided centerback is Saliba. No debate, as much as I love Romero, Saliba is a lot better on the ball and especially with composure CB: Van De Ven. In a short space of time, VDV has been top 3 defenders this season. I'm genuinely surprised on how well he settled. LB: Udogie. Zivchenko at City was great. Zivchenko at Arsenal is patchy and is honestly more of a defensive liability. Udogie is the best leftback in the league rn. CDM: Rice. He gets in. No debate CDM: Sarr. Bissouma was great until he got that red and then he started to be somewhat patchy. Bentancur just came back. Partey did his hamstring but he was great last season, but there's no gurantee that in-form Partey will be back. Havertz is not getting in. Sarr has been so under the radar. His work rate is one of the highest at Spurs, both defensively and offensively CAM: Maddison. Odegaard last season was phenomenal. But somehow Maddison when he was playing before the Chelsea injury surpassed the performance of last season Odegaard. Odegaard this season seems indecisive at the final third at times, but no doubt these two have quality on the ball. But if it wasn't the injury, Maddison would've been player of the season. Taking Madders on this one, but it's up for debate RW: Saka. As good as Kulu is, Saka last season and even this season at times is ridiculous. His stats aren't as great this season vs last season, but he still gets a lot done to create chances for others. ST: Son. Jesus has technique, but he and Nketiah have one thing in common and it's that they cannot finish off their chances. Son is probably the best finisher (I'm not saying striker cuz that's Henry, Suarez, Shearer, Kane etc.) in the history of EPL if you see his Xg vs goal tallies he has, it's ridiculous. No debate here. LW: Martinelli. Because Saka is so good, I think opponents sometimes forget how good Martinelli is. I honestly like him better because he seems more direct on the ball. Even when other Arsenal players aren't performing, he seems to just say screw this, I'll create chances myself and more often than not, he does create a lot of good chances.

CAM: Maddison. Odegaard last season was phenomenal. But somehow Maddison when he was playing before the Chelsea injury surpassed the performance of last season Odegaard. Odegaard this season seems indecisive at the final third at times, but no doubt these two have quality on the ball. But if it wasn't the injury, Maddison would've been player of the season. Taking Madders on this one, but it's up for debate
RW: Saka. As good as Kulu is, Saka last season and even this season at times is ridiculous. His stats aren't as great this season vs last season, but he still gets a lot done to create chances for others.
ST: Son. Jesus has technique, but he and Nketiah have one thing in common and it's that they cannot finish off their chances. Son is probably the best finisher (I'm not saying striker cuz that's Henry, Suarez, Shearer, Kane etc.) in the history of EPL if you see his Xg vs goal tallies he has, it's ridiculous. No debate here.
LW: Martinelli. Because Saka is so good, I think opponents sometimes forget how good Martinelli is. I honestly like him better because he seems more direct on the ball. Even when other Arsenal players aren't performing, he seems to just say screw this, I'll create chances myself and more often than not, he does create a lot of good chances.
