Thank you! Exactly what I needed to get started!
Thank you for clearly explaining what the Arduino site failed to do. Good video with good explanation.
Glad you liked it. Thank you.
Thank you for great video. I especially like the words you added to emphasize details.
Hi @SimkinCalrisian, thank you for the kind words.
hello! in connecting the dc motors, how do you know it is the right wire to insert in the 2 M1 terminal blocks correspondingly?
Thank you for the nice video! it helped a lot
@Kim Hanna, Im glad that it helped you in any way. Thank you for dropping by.
Hi there, how do i make two motors spin in different direction? Would appreciate a reply, thanks.
Thank you so much. Your video tutorial really helped me.
Glad to hear that!
Excellent clear video thank you
Very welcome
Great video!
@The Dank Dev, glad that you liked it. Thanks
We solder male header pins to the analogs of the l293d, then we try to connect it to ultrasonic sensor and code it to make obstacle detector, but it doesn't work, need help
nice explained very easy to undestand and i tried with ur video it is working
thnks for video
Glad to hear that. Thank you.
Great video!
Does the motors have to work on a specific voltage?
Hi Antonio Fortanet, yes you need to check the motor datasheet for that.
I need how to connect Arduino and motor shield
Hello sir., I want to use separate power supply, so how much power can I use ? Like for Arduino is it okay if I supply 9V and for L293d, I’ll supply other 14V ??
Thanks
Because I want to make accident avoidence car. In this projects code I cannot understand how to write the code .please tell me how can I connect Arduino Uno to motor driver by using wires please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Please make a detailed vedio for connecting that . please please please please please 🙏🙏
Hey, Bro can you give me details about pinout of this shield.
Because, I don't want to directly attached it to ardrino. And I want to make own code without adding any library.
Hi @Harsh Verma, more details could be found here techtotinker.blogspot.com/2020/05/how-to-get-started-with-l293d-motor.html?m=1
Can we connect the nodemcu esp8266 with this?
@Ravi, of course you can use ESP8266 with this shield and it will work. But this shield is designed as a shield for Arduino Uno.
Bro till how much mah battery we can plug to motor driver shield bro can I use 4.2 v 6000 mah battery of 2psc is the motors works good bro plz give me a solution bro plzz
You may check the datasheet for that. Such as this: www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/l293.pdf
I've followed these steps exactly with the same motor, library and code but I cannot get my motor to spin. Did anyone else have a similar problem
My aurdino is not turning on when L293D motor driver is connected with external 9V power. I removed power jumper on L293D but still not turning on.
@Aditya, most probably the cause is that the 9V power is not enough for (1) L293D driver chip, (2) Arduino board, and (3) the motor you want to drive. Maybe try using 3 pieces of 18650 battery connected in series. (3.7V x 3 = 11.1V in total).

sir , in my moter driver shield l293d, when i connect moters it is not working. i am useing 12 volt battery, plzz reply.
Can you elaborate the following?
1. How do you connect the 12V power supply to your L293D motor driver?
2. How do you connect the L293D to Arduino?
3. Where do you get the power for Arduino?
4. Do you have common ground connection between the Arduino board and the motor driver board?
Me ajuda... posso usa essa placa para controlar 3 motores 28y?
Puoi usare
4 dc motors + 2 servo
Oppure
2 stepper + 2 servo
Bro ,how can I connect Arduino Uno to the motor shield by using wires not on the board
Hi @Debabrata Pradhan, if I understand you correctly please correct me if Im wrong. You want connect the L293D motor driver shield to Arduino Uno using wires and not as a stack as shield, right?
To do that, you might want to wire individual pins refer to pin assignments at 00:45 which is much complicated. May I know why you need to do that?
@@TechToTinker hello, I am also trying to do this as I am trying to connect this shield to a Basys FPGA board instead of an Arduino. How might I go about controlling the DC motors pin-by-pin?
For example, say I want to turn motor 1 on on the clockwise direction. To do this, what pins should I connect?
Also, what are the 5V, GND, and 9V pins on the shield for? I'm assuming they aren't external power inputs, but then what are they? Power outputs?
Thanks!
@@mantistsai6457 Have you checked this: techtotinker.blogspot.com/2020/05/how-to-get-started-with-l293d-motor.html?m=1
Thank you thank you!
Btw, are you a Filipino?
@Paul Andrei Abayan, glad that it helps you. Yes, kabayan :). Cheers.
@@TechToTinker oh, thank you again hahaha.
Worth subscribing, I'll refer this also to my classmates.
Bro can we 9v battery?
9V battery is not recommended for motor power supply. You might want to use 18650 in series-parallel to increase voltage-current capacity. Cheers.
@@TechToTinker But if we use 9v battery no harm done right? it'll just be a little weaker right?
Please tell me how
