Dan is the master of not coming clean. With Palmetto case, he only acknowledged that he stole the gun from the evidence room, he never acknowledged (except to chloe) that he was the one who shot Malcolm at Palmetto. Dan never came clean with Chloe when he teamed up with Maze to tip off the Russian mob that Perry Smith had killed Boris in S2. Dan always had a dark side, and in this episode he put his own daughter in danger. This was a great episode, Lucifer is struggling with his inner monster, because he wants to be good, but he needs Chloe's acceptance of whom he is over anything else.
It's interesting that Eve's two sons were both horrible which might lead you to believe she was a terrible mother but she instantly jumped into action to protect Trixie. Yay, Eve! ;-)
I keep hearing through the Lucifer grapevine that Supernatural is so good. I kinda want to start to see for myself, but...good lord, 15 seasons so far?
it is definitely a really long show (the 15th season was the last one) but it is my all time favorite show so I say you should watch it. The first 5 seasons of this show are on another level, they are just so amazingly written. I will be honest and say that the writing got a bit lazy in the last few seasons but at that point you're so invested in the characters that it doesn't even matter that much. Plus the actors are all really good
Richard Speight Jr. directed four episodes of Lucifer and this is the first of them.
