It looks nice but that ikea stuff is hollow wood. Will it hold?
This is nice but the angle of the bench opening is awkward. Especially as you need to keep it open so it doesn't slam shut.

These are a little over 16″ high which is perfect for dining seating! Especially when a cushion is added to the top

Get the wood cut where you buy it. Then you'd mostly need a drill. You can do it!!!
